As a Catholic priest from the US, I was shocked at the tears that poured from my eyes listening to this outstanding rendition of klezmir - truly a music of the soul, of the heart. I had to smile at the playfully clever inclusion of "Chosen Kale Mazel Tov" at the very end. But, I was also impressed by the smiles of admiration of the kids playing in the orchestra. It's great to have this cultural treasure passed on to them. Bravìssimo, Chaver!!!
I remember the music played by my friends parents family on Shabbat eve , as I was 9 to 14 years old in French Elsass in the years 1955/60 ,me as catholic ,listening to the grand-mothers survivals from the Holocaust, who named me Markele, as my forename is Marc-

@@mikepadurjan2642 lies , this music is Jewish hasidic dance music combined with turkish, Ukrainian greek and only little with romanian musical performances, klezmer is really different than other slavic music when you get to hear it a lot, klezmer is claimed only be jews as traditional music, and of course it's not Semitic, it has only semitic elements, how can it be originally Jewish if jews lived in Europe for more than1000 years ?
