Indian Motorcycle introduced the iconic Indian Chief in 1921, blending traditional American V-twin style with modern performance. The Indian Chief Dark Horse, part of this lineup, embodies this fusion with its simple yet powerful design, paying homage to classic American motorcycling. Featuring a robust Thunderstroke engine and a steel-tube frame, it offers a stripped-down riding experience reminiscent of legendary cruising days.
The Chief lineup, including Thunderstroke and PowerPlus models, boasts an innovative slipper clutch for smoother downshifting and reduced clutch fatigue, enhancing user-friendliness, especially in challenging road conditions. With a 15.1-litre fuel tank, dual outboard preload-adjustable rear shocks, LED lighting, keyless ignition, and cruise control, along with three ride modes, the Chief models offer versatility and comfort for riders of all levels.
The Indian Chief Dark Horse distinguishes itself with a stripped-down, mechanical design, featuring drag handlebars, 19-inch cast wheels, mid-mount foot controls, and a solo bobber seat. Powered by the formidable Thunderstroke 116 engine, it delivers a substantial torque of 162 Nm. Additionally, it incorporates the RIDE COMMAND system for an intuitive riding experience, offering various interfaces, turn-by-turn navigation, and music management capabilities.
