@@Peter64AD That is simply not possible since the original rhythm track already has the 12 String acoustic (played by John), the bass (played by Paul) AND the electric guitar in place. Ringo played the drums obviously, that leaves George for the electric guitar.

@@elirosen1391 Maybe, Because They Could Be Hanging Out, Doing Things Together And They Could Protect Each Other By Means Of George, Paul And Ringo Jumping On To Chapman And Beat Him Out, Or They Could Be In Different Places Where Chapman Couldn't Even Find Them (Specifically John), But When George Got Stabbed I Don't Think The Other 3 Lads Would Be Around, But Yeah I Think It Might've Save John And George.

    • @elirosen1391

@@revolution_rui30 honestly, I disagree. George died of cancer in 2001, and unless he had quit smoking, I dont think anything could have been done to change that. As for John, I can't imagine he was the healthiest either at the time of his death. He had a ton of emotional issues, and I feel like that would have significantly shortened his lifespan. Whatever the case, it is certain that we are all mortal beings on this planet, and the Beatles are no exception!

@@thomaspappalardo7589 that was my thinking too. Now I'm wondering, what amp did he use? See, I always thought he used the Twin Reverb. It has a bright sound. And indeed there is a ton of reverb on his part. The problem is, it doesn't break up as quickly as its lower-wattage counterparts. Plus on one of the earlier takes from the Abbey Road 50th Anniversary Deluxe Reissue, George's guitar has a dry sound. So now I'm leaning towards the white 1962 Bassman! What's your take on the mystery?

The only known guitar playing by a non-Beatle on a Beatles track was Eric Clapton on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and an unknown guitarist at the beginning of "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill," which a loop from a Mellotron. The guitarist on the Mellotron loop is possibly an Australian named Eric Cook.
