Hanzo the "there's 2 wolves inside of me" type of guy
LMAO
Proof?
@@A.Singularity The Wolf skins that turn the dragons into wolves
There’s two wolves inside of you
What the heck are you doing at the zoo??
theres something else inside me 😏
I like to think that Hanzo "stole" Genji's dragon when Hanzo "killed" him, giving him two dragons. Then Genji got his back over time after coming to peace with himself.
Same lol
Yea
Han I didn’t “kill” him, he did kill him, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Hanson killed genii. But mercy was all, “nah fam” and boom. Your likely right about why he has 2 dragons, but I was just clarifying. Ha so did kill genii. He needs jail time
It makes sense
exactly
Apparently the dragons represent body and soul, since genji technically died and lost part of his body, after he found peace with what he became he was still able to control his soul dragon
No. you guys are overthinking this. they literally just wanted to make hanzo’s ult look cool.
@@jh.arturolmao I agree, this comment section is like every English teacher ever. Looking way too far into things
@@mcj44that’s not a bad thing, if you can back it up with evidence (they are backing it up with evidence)
@@yuhyuh1471 I never said it was a bad thing. I remember my English teacher told me “everything is intentional unless stated otherwise” so ive been trying to keep that in mind while reading the comments. But I also don’t like overthinking, which everyone is doing.
Except Genji didn’t die. He was very wounded but didn’t actually die when Mercy found him
Devs: nah, we just didn't know how to make a cool flying dragon animation with a simple hitbox
Literally, like they could have made the dragon a little thicker so they could keep one
@nocapnelly6519 dude they messed up kiriko backstory so badly that it seems they didn't know it at all. I would not be surprised if they just are incapable of thinking that
Exactly
They didn't but ok bro bro 😂 @@maximumgas9448
My thought process was that he had two since he had mastery over sword and Bow
That’s what I was thinking
thas what I’m saying
or is a game and nothing everything is lore
@@chloeeig ok…? People can speculate if they want to it’s not hurting you.
@@Thysillyone1 ok but not everything is lore buddy
I think the second dragon is Hanzo and Genji’s father’s dragon, and it was given to Hanzo because he is the eldest son.
That’s why!
They dont have individual dragons that they can give away like candy. All the shimada use one of the 2 dragon brothers.
yes😊
No the devs had problems with hitbox so they made his ult 2 dragons theres no theory guys
I think so too plus the male members of clan seem to inherit theirs at some point🤔
I always thought it was common knowledge that Hanzo’s inner dragon spirits were split into two different dragons after the guilt he felt from killing his brother. He was torn between being an older brother and being the eldest son to the Shimada clan, and so his 2 dragons represent this internal split.
Development said they wanted the hit box to be consistent while also making it look good so there's two
@@yes8807true yet boring lets make it a cover up
Your wrong actually
Its because of hanzos ults hitbox didnt work with 1 dragon so they added a second so the hitbox was correct
The game devs saw that the one dragons hitbox was too small so they added another to enlarge it.
correction, he has 3 dragons and 2 dragon eggs
If it was 5 dragon where is the 2 other dragons then and it doesn't much add to much and I think is not a real explanation
@@jamancarrido1858 i dont think you get the joke
I wish I knew where this joke is from or what it means. I guess I’m too slow…
Wait a sec….
*DO YOU MEAN HIS* 🍆🐔🥜???
YOU MENACE!!!!
@@Brandon-br7tc the joke is his genitalia is the third dragon and eggs
I thought it was because he is technically still the leader of the shimada clan. The legend has two dragons so being able to use two must be a sign of being the patriarch. Genji has not been recognised as part of the higher order of the clan so he only has control over one
"Gee, -Billy- _Hanzo,_ how come our mom lets you have *_two_* dragons?"
"My brother is dead!"
"...wait, wha-" _[blarghdead]_
My reasoning was due to him having a bow and arrow, the bow representing one dragon and the arrow representing the other while Genji having his single sword only has one
But what about the SHURIKENS?!
@@6TY9420 fair point
It represents body and soul ig? Hanzo has both but genji just has a soul
Genji has shurikens. The dragons have nothing to do with the weapons
@@meowcow21 Genji's original concept (after the separation of Genji and Hanzo into the two characters we have know) on had his sword
Edit: hell Genji only throws his shurikins once in the Dragons short
Honzo used to duel wield swords and it went into his archery.😊
Honzo
Honzo
I thought it was because he inherited one of the dragons from his father and kept his own
I think that's the pretty clear reason lol. That's why hanzos dragons spiral around each other as if they're fighting. But genji has become one with his new body, so not only controls his dragon, but it becomes a part of him during his ultimate unlike hanzo who just releases the dragon
👏👏🔥
One of the theories I've heard say that the dragons represent both the Body and the Mind/Soul of their user, When Hanzo almost killed genji, he destroyed Genji's body causing him to become a cyborg and lose one of his dragons, Leaving only the Soul left
It’s magic, I always thought that Hanzo thought Genji was dead for a long time so his “magic” changed to reflect that- like he had absorbed Genji’s dragon into his own. That he’s living his life with Genji in mind
But its not magic. Its 2 dragon souls who inhabit the shimada clan members. Also Hanzo didnt absorb Genji’s drahon or anything because Genji never died. He was left for dead before Angela and the rest of Overwatch found him and repaired him.
I always saw it as after he defeated Genji he just took both thinking he was dead and Genji has his since he didn't die
New theory, the other dragon is the dragon’s kid
I thought it was his fathers dragon, he inherits his fathers duties thus his dragon as well. If this is linked to lineage that is which Hanzos somewhat implies with the line which I will paraphrase goes something like “only a shimada can control the dragon” after genji redirects hanzos dragon strike. This may also explain the colour difference between Hanoi and genji. Hanzo followed his fathers lifestyle in a path of duty and service this why both of his dragons are blue if we go with the theory that he wields his fathers as well, whilst genji went on a path of self discovery and branched off from “the family business”
The colors are based on North and South.
I think with the "death" of Genji he also took part od his dragon, and Genji manifested a newer version after many years of gaining his strength back as a cyborg.
Maybe cause it represents their lives one of them as a dragon one as a human and Hanzo killed genji as a dragon that’s my theory
Second theory:maybe hanzo stole genjis dragon then he got another one
Bruvers
I always thought it was a double headed dragon
Maybe it’s how he honors genji for thinking he was dead
When he “killed” he prob stole some of his dragon
Simple. He embodied the spirit dragon of the sword and the bow. Hence, the two dragons.
Ockham's Razor : They both probably can use two dragons, Genji just doesnt
Another theory is that players were complaining that hanzos ult should have two dragons (may or may not be correct😂)
The real reason was the hit box was too awkward for one dragon so the gave home two
It's literally because it was confusing for players back when his ultimate had 1 dragon and it looked terrible
I think because when his father died, he was he had dragons too so when when he died, he passed one of the dragons to Hanzo. That’s why Hanzo has two dragons.
2 halves of the a whole. One dragon representing guilt and sorrow, the other, pride and honor.
I feel like he gained another dragon when he killed the other shimada/ genji
only the OG’s know they just put two dragons instead of one to accurately show the ult hitbox bc one looked too awkward
Fun fact: If you use the hanzo wolf skin, the dragon in the ultimate turns to a wolf and the voiceline is “the wolf hunts its prey”
The icon for his ult always reminded me of a double-headed ouroboros.
If having inner conflict is what it takes to have dragons, I'd have atleast 20 of them.
Hanzo just stole Genji’s dragon when he teabagged his dead body
My theory is that after beating genji he pretty much took the dragon from genji and since genji says he is half the man he use to be it would mean he also has half the dragon then he use to
oh now that i think of it hanzo is basically carrying genji's old soul,,, like that was his dragon before. damn the angst
I always thought it was a reflection of the body and soul. Genji only having one , the soul
Hanzo still has one dragon “the dragon of the south” it split itself into 2
he has 2 dragon, because is ult damage zone was not fitting 1 dragon, so to fit it they placed a second one
the dev already explained that
Hanzo prolly took genjis dragon and genjis dragon is artificially made through his cybernetics
my goat Hanzo just split his dragon into two for efficiency
I like to think that it’s simply because even though it’s referred to as a single dragon entity, it’s actually split between 2 Twin Dragons.
I think it represents his two personalities. Sympathy and care aswell as anger and pain.
I can now officially min-max by having lots of trauma at a young age so I can get DID for extra dragons :troll:
"Bruvers"
Tiddy man can have as many dragons as he wants
Never had thought about it until this video but immediately conflict came to mind right when posed
Lore wise, the reason Hanzo has two dragons is that one represents him and one representative solve his brother that he “killed”
When honzos voice lines said “my brother” I always thought he meant it as a form of respect not that he was literally his brother
I think it’s because Hanson still holds on to genji and thinks of him as his brother while genji doesn’t seem to notice and care for his brother
He killed genji, hence taking his dragons spirit or hiss will or power, and through zenyatta teaching he regained his honor and came to be one with his body again controlling it once more… maybe
One for his bow, and one for his arrow
when they were making overwatch, hanzo originally just had one dragon but in testing they thought it was too hard to understand the hitbox if it was coming at you so they made it 2 in a helix. the lore explanations are cool tho
One per arm, genji missing 1 arm.
i just like to think it’s the same dragon just cloned to show the conflict in hun but the dev excuse works too
I thought he stole Genji dragon and when Genji got ressed he somehow made a new one
1 dragon - younger brother
2 dragons - older brother
it was one at first but, the players were complaining it wasn't hitting the hitbox but still doing damage so they changed the design to 2 drakes
Hanzo has consumed Genji's dragon.
He split his chakra 😂
Two Dragons...
In a bow...
And then a meteor shows up...
I like to think that it’s all in hanzos mind so he thought he killed his brother so he thought he claimed his dragon
Hanzo fought with two so he wields two, however genji has fought with only hanzo, as Genji does not fight with himself as he has made peace with who he is.
It’s because He got that dawg in him
"Hey guys today im gonna explain something"
*Doesn't explain anything*
Now explain why Kiriko can teleport
Fox spirit
bros asking why the 20 year old with a kitsune inside her can teleport, bro its a really powerful spirit
Meta reason is, it was originally one dragon but that made the hitbox very hard to see so they made it 2 instead.
The actual reason is that the devs tried making only one dragon with the same animation but it always flew up instead of straight, so they added a second dragon to fix it
the real reason is that 1 dragon looked goofy in development so they made it 2
Inside you there are two dragons
It could be a possibility that hanzo's dragon could be a two headed dragon
Hanzo has mastered 2 forms of combat, both the sword(to a greater extent than genji) and the bow, maybe the 2 dragons represent that or maybe after "killing" genji he adopted his brothers spirit dragon to let genji's spirit live on through him metaphorically, and when training in his robot body genji adopted a new spirit dragon
I always thought that maybe they all Shimada have two dragons but because genji technically dies he lost one because it somehow was able to revive him
I had that thought because it would add to why he was so pissed when he came back. He wasn’t just going through the changes on his body, but also mourning what he lost
It’s actually because of the hitbox being in the shape of 3 spheres in a row. One dragon being circled made the hit box a little misleading so they gave him 2
I think he got it because he killed gengi and got his dragon. Gengi then came back but because he’s gengi he kept his dragon
The devs: One didnt looked cool enough.
The way you said brothers was so ugly lol
i just think it’s cause he got genjis dragon then genji was like “fuck you, i’m back”
No, it’s a two heads dragon😂
I always thought he has 2 dragons because of his tattoos, his tattoo is two dragons around each other and when he summon the dragons they come from the tattoos.
i think he gained a second dragon when he killed gengi/another shimada
I always thought it was cause he mastered two forms of combat and that was his reward, he’s amazing with a bow, but with a sword he was unbelievable
I think he split his dragon to represent his brother
1: They don't have dragons, they're the same technology as symmetra hard light
2: they don't own dragons
Hanzo ate his twin in the womb and got an extra dragon.
2 balls, 2 dragons.
Hanzo claimed genjis dragon and when genji came back he got a new spirit dragon
It might just be as simple as Hanzo' Dragon having two heads and Genji' has one head
Also hanzo had to rule both poles by himself
It's actually just a reference to rocket leagues dueling dragons goal explosion.
I think its because hanzo in the cinematic is represented as the dragon that "killed" the other for territory and power, so that power was "adquire" and had two dragons
I think the othher one is like a wolf dragon hybrid because you can hear a wolf howl and several skins have wolves
Over watch devs:haha snakes go brrrr
I think the 2nd dragon is his dad's. Who is now dead, who u can say represents the conflicting part of him who wants to honor shimada clan
