Did you recalibrate the speedometer for the larger tires?
I actually havenât!
Meaningless unless you re-calibrate the speedometer unless you know your mileage between 2 points and calculate the exact amount of fuel used.
Youâre right! I need to recalibrate it to make it more accurate or find an equation
Questions:
Did you use 91 prior to the lift? The V35A-FTS is optimized for 87 under normal load and even towing.
Did you change anything with the computer to account for the 37â tires? Your rotational distance is further than the computer thinks without it and youâre probably getting better than you think.
Lastly, not really a question, but I was happy to have learned this - the V35A-FTS is a direct AND port injection engine. Sport and normal use port injection but ECO uses direct injection for better accuracy. This means that in ECO mode, your valves are not being cleaned in the same way they would if port injection was being utilized. With port fuel injection, the cleaning effect of the intake manifold ports and valves promotes higher exhaust gas recirculation rates. I honestly stopped using ECO when I learned this, itâll pay dividends in the long run despite the 1 mpg I may have saved.
Truck looks good, man.
Iâve always used 91 just because my sams club only has 85 or 91.
I havenât recalibrated anything for the ODO. So I may be getting better mpg than I think.
Iâm always thinking ECO is saving me some type of gas but I havenât really looked into it. But I should test the theory out. But Iâm already light on the pedal until itâs merging on the interstate or highways.
The only way u going tho get beter mpg . Try like old grand papa . No matter what year tundra.
Ahhaha I drive slow majority of the time
More vlog/longer type videos! Not a fan of the short videos
I can definitely do longer videos!
247 miles on a full tank?? Thatâs garbage MPG
Man I agree with you. But only so much you can do with 22gal tank lol
True that! 32 gallon is better
@@strxyberry_squish5536 Everything you just said here does not make any sense ? đ
