I like the black pottery lamp, but I definitely think it needs to be painted. You could add baking soda to the paint for added texture. Just a thought.
I love AT HOME. If you have an eye, they have amazing items. I love their garden section for pots, planters, wood items, mirrors etc.

Girl, were you not blown away at the merchandise, the inventory and the plethora of options? It's so good. You might remember posting the gold box on a mood board this Summer and I commented that At Home had a similar one for $10 I think, and you shared it in this video. That might need to come home with me. The glass box is gorgeous. I want it. Even styled empty is beautiful. I like the unique rectangular thin style of it. The black clay lamp is such a vibe. The glass vase made in Mexico, I screamed you have to buy the medium size Brandy 😂😂😂 I tend to grab so many things and then I have that self talk and end up leaving items but I was given advice by another CZcamsr. She said Buy Now Return Later. With certain things, I'm taking that advice. This shop with me is one of my favs. TFS Brandy. I love at home! They have the best selection for Christmas! Wait for the sale they will lower it to 75% and even 90%. I bought so much last year in sale
Brandy for the lamp definitely use a spray chalk paint or a spray matte then you can rough it up with some real chalk dusted onto it. I see the vision lol

I haven’t been to At Home in years! Really, really liked the “vintage style” clear handmade vases and absolutely that glass box! Also, the cloche/marble set you put the phone down for 😉

I don't know why but whenever I buy the lamp and shade separately, I never love it!
It can be hard to pair a lamp and lampshade.. I may have to do a video on lamp and lampshades in the future! 🥰🤗

If you wanted to save even more money since you said you wanted to re-do the lamp over anyways . Why not just buy that similar base lamp with a vase at Hobby Lobby or even a thrift find with a puck light 🤷🏻♀️
