This has been a favorite song of mine for such a long time, specifically for the playlists i make for my table top characters, thank you for showing jealous crow some love!!! ❤
Thank you! I hope I did it justice. My mother does a wonderful rendition of this song. That's how I knew it, but I believe it's written by Chris Stuart and Backcountry originally. I thought I'd honour tge tradfolk ways simply play the song
Yes, it's one of my favourite songs as far as lyrics goes. I love the story telling or fairytale that goes on and also the play on words/sounds whatever... you know how "Cora" the name itself sort of sounds like what what crows are saying adds a layer of to it all in some sense
And I also love the fact the mother is so wise and good that she sees right through the spell, recognising her daughter and her beauty even when she has taken the form of a bird

@@TapestriMusic I've never heard the original, but it sounded great to me. It was cool to see you playing/performing it too. Thanks for sharing it!
@@ForneliusNulland thanks! The original is really good. Much bluegrass. I was thinking seeing a performance could be entertaining for some
Sounds great. And interesting lyrics - the crow could take her form but not her spirit, where her beauty seemed to lie.
