@@zelktheinvader7874 It was more a case of them not being replaced by someone else for the season. Myth and Roid was technically replaced in this season, even though Mayu Maeshima was the lead singer for the first ending.

this anime has many great fights but i't also focuses on characters and world building. There are episodes with no fights at all but if you like the characters and the world, you wouldn't mind one bit. This is one of the better Isekai genre anime out there.

The animation leaves a lot to be desired, but the pacing and plot beats are admittedly good imo. They did the best they could with pacing.
The source material’s worldbuilding is the best of isekai I’ve seen tbh.
Other isekai might have more character development or interesting plot progression, but worldbuilding itself? No. Not even Mushoku Tensei or ReZero would have entire arcs about how some backwater inhuman races like lizard men were affected by the main characters. The world feels like it evolves with the characters.

My tier list is 4, 3, 1, 2. 🤣 Idk Hollow Hunger really grew on me, and Voracity is always good to listen to.

For real this series has some of if not my favorite opening themes/ videos they're all so hype
3 is good, but I only bow down to op 4 now. To be honest, deciding your fav overlord op is like choosing a favorite child, you really shouldn’t and usually can’t.
First opening i remember it always coming on the radio in my country and when i grew older i came to watch overlord and then seeing that hearing that opening in the anime brought back so many good memories i never knew it came from this anime very changing experiencing

OP 4 heavily slept on, sadly the shorter version doesnt do the full justice. OP 4 second half goes fucking HARD while the other 3 go harder at first. All 4 songs are fucking BANGERS but op 4 is the goated full song, my favorite part is the clapping in the back during the breakdown
