"What happens to Reva?" Well, I have convinced myself that Reva wanders off into the dune sea where she encounters and ultimately joins a Tusken tribe. Specifically the tribe that Boba joins for a time. I believe she's the female warrior in black. The one that trained Boba. The one that drove the speeder like she had experience.

@@jayswfa I don't think she'd forget how to use the force, I don't think anyone with some training could forget, but there could be a loss of connection to the force which can be recaptured. In the case of Grogu, he intentionally suppressed his abilities to stay hidden but was able to call on them when in need.

Beautiful reaction, Marcella. Thank you for sharing. Star Wars is basically a 45 year tragedy and hope. While they own a unique ability to give us nostalgia, much of it is from the point of sadness as much as hope. I think this series touched on both that tragedy and hope as much as we could have ever wished for.

When Vader says **"I am not your failure"** , his face is covered in blue light as if Anakin Is accepting the apology from Obi wan . Then his face turns red , when Vader returns with darkness . This was so symbolising in a way that even though He's Darth Vader there's is still some Anakin left in him only those who really know him can take out .(Another instance Ashoka ) and Finally Master Qwai Gon for 5secs after two and a half decades
Overally what a great short series which greatly connects the events , also keeping the characters comically accurate . I will be not mad or sad if we don't get a season 2 .

Obi Wan saying "Then my friend is truly dead," just like Luke will say: "Then my father is truly dead." in Return of the Jedi. Amazing. Little Luke is SOOO Adorable too. I really don't get people's criticism of the Reva storyline. It's tragically beautiful just like Star Wars stories should be. She was so blinded by her rage towards Vader that she wanted to destroy everything of his, especially his son. She must have believed that evil lived through Luke. But when the time came, she couldn't bring herself to slaughter the youngling like Vader did to the others. Wonderful storytelling.

I'm still thinking over this season. Choices were made narratively and character-wise that initially I did not like, I reserved judgement until the end. This show is a rollercoaster for me with great highs and bizarre lows. One aspect I cannot deny--and it is completely unexpected--is the power of the arc between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan. I was against it when I first heard rumors about Hayden returning. It did not fit into my head canon at all. However, when I'm wrong I acknowledge it and the scenes with Hayden and Ewan are some of the best Star Wars content I've ever seen. Thank you for your reaction and commentary and content. Looking forward to more of your material!

After that, I guess I can say that I "fell to the dark side". I stopped caring about people. I became cold.
I then met this manipulative and emotionally abusive woman who eventually became my ex-wife. I wasn't able to see her true face. She tortured me for seven years, but I wasn't able to leave her, because she was all that I had. She was exactly like Sidious.

The attention to detail. I might be reading into it too much but in episode 3, Obi-wan attacks Anakin/Vader once in their duel, right at the end. Everything else he's defending against Anakin's strikes. He doesn't want to kill the person. And as soon as he does land that strike, he leaves. In this, he's significantly more aggressive because he doesn't see the person, and as soon as he does, his will crumbles and he lets him live.

4:33 Would he have though? What happened to here fits with what the Sith do, which is exact revenge. Revenge of the Sith was aptly named--George Lucas said it himself years ago when he changed episode 6 name to Return of the Jedi. Jedi don't seek revenge, Sith do. The Jedi eradicated the Sith and what's the first the Sith do when things start going their way? eradicate the Jedi. Instead of killing Anakin the second he had him, Darth Vader made him suffer; he dragged Obi-Wan through burning coals (or whatever those things were) so that Obi-Wan could experience the sort of pain Anakin had to endure. He was planning to do so much worse to him, slowly over time, but was robbed of that.
Reva stabbed the grand Inquisitor and left him for dead, so the same thing was done to her when she was found out. The only time we've seen the Sith up the ante was with Anakin before he became a Sith. Dooku took Anakin's arms and Anakin took both his arms...and then his head, but that's only because the Emperor told him to. Had he not done so, we still would have had a 2 to 1 game in Anakin's favor, lol. Anyway, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is what the Sith apparently do in canon.
5:03 I thought she lived because of her attachment to living, her attachment for revenge. This is why the Sith live and Jedi die. Jedi do not want to make the Force do as they want it to. Instead, they stay in step with it. They accept the will of the Force, meaning when death comes a knocking, you answer. Darth Maul, Reva, Anakin, the Grand Inquisitor and Palpatine were all not ready to go when death came for them. They all held on. Reva was an dwindling ember in the abyss. The Darkness around her was quickly enveloping her, but the light side of the Force still clung to her. We saw her first signs of conflict on Mapuzo in the safehouse with Jedi tales and the Jedi emblem etched on the walls--she actually reached out like she wanted to reconnect. We later see her on Nur hesitate a couple of times while interrogating Leia. Look at her face when the officer calls her away--Reva looks relieved. On Jabiim, after her purpose was made clear, we can see that she does what she does for the Jedi, her family, not exactly personal gain. I'm not excusing her, just stating that she wasn't doing it for herself, and she tells us that when she tells Obi-Wan that she failed "them." She wanted to avenge her slain family. Anyway, I just thought Reva lived because she fused to answer the call of death.
"Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealousy. The shadow of greed that is."
    --Master Yoda

34:54 nine years. Luke and Leia are supposed to be 19 years old in A New Hope. They are 10 years old no, so we got another nine years to play with. They must be rough because Obi-Wan's got to age pretty quickly =/ I think that's the only thing I don't like about Disney giving us this great series, lol. yup, that's my nitpick for the series =P

What's sad is that Obi-wan realized too late that Anakin WAS wronged. The jedi were arrogant. They were hypocritical and narrow sighted. they looked down on Anakin. Ignored and mistreated him. Did not listen to him or help and nurture him. Obi-wan wronged him by being a brother instead a father which is what he needed. What qui-gon would have been for him. Episode 6! The one who has one of the best lightsaber duels in all SW history. The top one will always be the Return of the Jedi one cause of all the history and drama behind it, but this one is pretty awesome too, BUT... it also had some stupid things that I didn't understand and made no sense.
    1. This show made Obi Wan a terrible babysitter. Why? His ONLY JOB was watching over Luke. He left Luke, unprotected, knowing that are inquisitors after Jedi and Force Sensitive people, and you left your only hope for the galaxy, that you think more than once in OT and in Rebels to the point he says he is the chosen one, without anyone to watch over him. Nice job Obi Wan. Then he simple forgot about Luke cause we end episode 5 with him freaking out cause he sense something bad will happen. But in Episode 6 all he cares is to make sure Leia goes to Alderaan. We see that he got his blaster and Lightsaber in episode 6. So meaning he went to Haja or Haja went to him and gave him back his stuff. Wait a minute, shouldn't be Obi Wan freaking out, wanting to go to Tatooine the moment he realize that the comlink is missing knowing what is in that message? No, he wants to protect those people. F**** Luke the kid that is your only hope to end the Empire, right Obi Wan?
    2. So the idea was to get on that ship and with that lead Vader away from the main ship. Excuse me, but Vader has his shuttle. Why don't you go to chase Obi Wan, and the Star Destroyer continues to pursue the rebels?? And hold on, didn't Roken told Obi Wan in Episode 5 that they need to wait because those people were first to be rescue. If you had that ship all along, then why didn't you say that to Obi Wan and he could simple grab that, after all we find out that ship has hyperdrive.
    3. Then the Owen and Beru stuff. First how in the world Reva got to Tatooine? How? But Owen's idea is to grab Luke and hide. At first I was like: "Yeah aunt Beru is a badass", but now I think. Owen was actually the one with the good plan all along. You know that a force sensitive person, harmed with a freaking lightsaber is coming for you. Two people who are NON FORCE SENSITIVE. How in the world you think that rifles will do anything? You are in a big freaking desert. If I knew a sith was after my child, I would grab him and get the hell out of there. But you know once again, the female is the lead and the male needs to shut up. Look I love seeing a woman kicking ass, but this female empowerment is starting to get stupid. I'm sure. Besides we know that if Reva wanted, they were dead in seconds. All she needed to do was choke them. But luckily (sort off) for Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru is a movie called A New Hope, so they needed to be alive in this case. Which made that whole scene stupid and pointless and it was only made so we get the redemption arc on Reva, which come point 4.
    4. Reva got her redemption. Which was fine. BUT. we clearly know she knows who Luke is. Some how she knows that this boy is very important, cause not only the most important Jedi at the moment is watching over him, (or supposed too) but also a Alderaan Senator knows about him and is ready to go to help raise him, so she knew Luke is important. I believe she knows Luke is Anakin child cause somehow she knows he is not Owen Son. But the redemption scene was kind of cool, until she talks to Obi Wan. And that is my problem.
I don't like Rebels. For me that show is bad but there are some good episodes. One of them is the Obi Wan and Maul scene. So in that scene, Obi Wan is calm, talking to Maul, until Maul figures out why Obi Wan is in that planet. And the moment he says that he is there to protect someone, Obi Wan takes his lightsaber and he is ready to fight. So are you telling me, that Obi Wan let Reva left, a former inquisitor that only because she is good that doesn't mean she can't use that info in the future, with that big important secret? Just like that? Seriously?
And then when he talk to Owen, Obi Wan said that the only protection Luke needs is him and Beru. I'm sorry but NO. Reva kicked their asses and she didn't kill them cause of ANH, or they will be dead, so clearly they suck protecting Luke. He needs someone with force sensitive powers to protect him. Meaning YOU! WTF are you talking about?
I have to say that one of the things this show did for me in good way was to redeem Uncle Owen for me. I never really liked him in ANH. Always thought he was mean and didn't enjoy to raise Luke at all. Even if we think clearly, we know he didn't want Luke to go to the Academy because the moment he would be there, and he said his name, they would know who he was, but either way he was always so rude to him. But now, seeing limping, I know how he got that and it was to protect him. That was the good thing this show and I want to see more Luke and Owen and Beru lives. But as you can see, this show was badly written, by people who clearly don't know anything about the lore and the OT and didn't pay attention to the movie that starts all of this. So I want a season 2 but this time find someone who actually knows the story and made about Luke cause that is what the reason this all started: Obi Wan watching over Luke, even after he lived pass the Dune Sea cause he knew Luke was in trouble with the tuskens raiders and he was there to protect him right away.
So these are my rants, sorry Marcella for the long ones. Once again this is my personal opinion. Feel free to disagree. It is fine.

They show what I always wanted to see, how the Empire works, their meetings and how they want to screw each other too, and even if I like to see Jedi and lightsabers and the force, here is a show you can do without all of that and be amazing.
