@@elaeka3685 It is a common practice in story telling. Her closest friend is there, she prolly told aler what's happening inside or aler just know it. We even encounter a lot of this kind of POVs in sumeru archon quests.
@@lyght18 but there's many theories that what we, the players, know are different from what the Traveler knows. We don't know everything about the Traveler (when the Traveler 1st woke up, how the world looked when they woke up, why they were in a rush to leave, etc). And i believe Traveler didn't know about Kayea being from Khaenri'ah (unlike us, we knew). They only figured it out when Dainsleif and Kaeya talked about it. Traveler also doesn't know all the Harbinger's names, only we know (because of the Trailer, of course). Players and the Traveler have different knowledge.

Decenders are not effected by irmensul and its change. As Paimon and Nahida didnt remember Scara, but the Traveler - as an Decendent did.
So as mentioned in the short, Arlechino could actually be an Decendent

How small Scara was compared to his coat distracted me so much I didn't even get to think of that in a lore perspective
I also noticed how he didn't bother to cover himself up completely with the coat. Considering he's a puppet he doesn't feel the cold in Snezhnaya from a little to no extent, unlike other harbingers like Signora.

I figured it was just like watching a new anime with no context, and we're just watching her life from the beginning not a POV. That's why it didn't strike me as odd to see Scaramouche with Signora and the others. It's not a flashback or a memory, it's literally just Hoyo saying "hey this is how it happened btw, now you're caught up!"

Plot twist: The Arlecchino animation was made way back before Sumeru's storyline was written, and they forgot to remove him
I am convinced she is an outworlder, but not a descender. Since the traveller, who is a descender, has angel imagery, that would explain why she has that fallen one-winged angel motif. Like she is also from another world, but she failed to become capable of rivaling an entire world
Probs from another world but has no idea. Hense the “curse” to. While we’re obvs not cursed, the descender before died and we can’t find our sibling, are ALWAYS caught up in crap we never wanted to be dragged into and ig even irminsal not changing our minds could be considered “cursed” by others view
I think the traveler is indeed cursed, i don't remember when this is said in the main story but i think we are told that the travelers lose their "true light powers" or something and also the ability to travel through other worlds

Yea “if it’s a memory of her life as it flashes before her eyes” but that’s not confirmed. This could just be a telling or her past to the audience as to know her origins hence the Scaramouche appearance

For clarification, Irminsul doesn’t actually change history, simply people’s memories of what happened. It’s explained by Nicole at the end of the 3.3 interlude quest that it doesn’t actually tamper with history, and that only few have the capability to do so (an example being Istaroth in Ei’s second story quest.) So Scara being there does make sense. As for why he was chosen over any other harbinger, I’m guessing it’s because they wanted to show his winter coat, since we had never seen it.
Alternatively though…Dottore has at least some level of an ability to circumvent Irminsul, as he proclaims that the knowledge he shares with Nahida is hidden by it. I’ve also always found it weird how the No. 6 seat is just…empty after Scara’s erasure, because you’d kind of assume that if no one remembered him, people would just call them “The Ten Fatui Harbingers” and Sandrone would be treated as if she was always No. 6, Signora as if she was always No. 7, so on and so forth. So…I do have to wonder if maybe the harbingers (at least the higher ranking ones since Childe doesn’t seem to remember him) do actually remember Scara through some method of Irminsul circumvention, but only time will tell.
What if "Perinheri" also means something different like "Per in her I"? Maybe a different soul into another body? I don't know.

@@MinsleifIf I recall correctly, I think he mentioned something about a curse in the Pursuit questline? Either that or it was mentioned in the notes left in the Book of Revelation by the sunflowers after the quest. That could be a good place to look, especially considering that it's a really easy quest to miss!

There's a high possibility that Aler remembers Scara. There are still lots to uncover. But one thing is for sure, the harbingers are no joke and not to mess with. They collect the most valuable information about Teyvat, so there's no doubt that one of their members is immune to Irminsul.
Also the way arlechinno fought the previous harbinger is similar to how lyney , Lynette and freme gonna fight arlechinno

However, if it was the case then it still would be factual. How irminsul works is when erasing a presence from the world, it would be the name. That's it. The figure and what they look like would be remembered (to an extent depending on how long ago). For further proof of this, after Scara erased himself from Irminsul, we were to go back to Inazuma for a short side quest. It was here where they remembered a figure. But not a name.

I think the only way to settle the debate regarding whether or not this short was based on Peruere's memories or not, is if she mentions Scara in her voice lines.
If she does, she's highly likely to be a descender.

I have two issue with this theory is that there are only 4 know descenders, and the second is that she has a vision
The descender is the primordial one, and the fourth is the traveller, and the third descender being dead and turned in Gnosis doesn't leave much room for Father
Maybe she could be a descendant of a descender and iruminsul is having issues computing her seemingly missing a family member from her family tree
Peruere does mean something, although it’s a loose transition- it’s “to succeed” in Latin, but I’ve also heard “to perish.”

Great Singularities always impact both the storyline and the players. We had Elysia sacrificing herself to give a chance for upcoming Herscherrs hold on to the bits of humanity they have left and fight back. Very excited to see how descenders impact the story and what her and the fatui's role in it
Also with the satellite, a moon is a satellite so it ties in with the theory of her being a reincarnation of the crimson moon god

The Orphanage was for Drifters first but also changed for the orphans from the Khaenriah too in latter days. And the animated short was not a flashback of Arlecchino for innumerable reasons, it was just an introduction to Arlecchinos past by Hoyo to the community (a third person view). So Scaras appearance there is pretty normal.
Low and behold one of Arlecchino’s idles is her glitching
