Yea this game desperately needs a pity there’s should be no reason that I spend 20k on golden Friza only for me to get nothing while my friend somehow gets 5 copies in one summon
You have to be over exaggerating, no way your friend got 5 in 1 summon. The 20k and nothing on the other hand is very believable

it was dying slowly ever since og beast gohan ruined the meta and changed forever, ever since he dropped, we got insanely unfair and broken ultras/lfs (super 17 and gohan being the ones i hate the most atm) so yea
Beast changed the meta 2.0 . Zenkai FSK was the original meta changer. He was the original powercreep who started it all

As a fromer F2P player, I stopped playing after I got shafted out if 17k on the UVB banner, theb came back and quit after I got shafted out of 23k on the UUI banner.

I actually have a lot of solutions for most of these problems
Resources/CC: Just have a raid that lasts a week or two and reset it every 1 or 2 weeks. This solves the problem with slot removers, arts cores, cc, etc.
PvE Boost Characters: Make boost characters be tags/sagas that correlate with said event instead of restricting it to the newest units and only having 1 or 2 f2p boost units (E.X If we have a saiyan Saga Raid have every character thats from the Saiyan Saga boost the drops by 15 to 30. Make the new units increase it by 30 at 3 stars ,35 to 50 at 6*, 70 at 9* and maybe even 100 -150 at 14* to still have incentive for summoning)
Equipment and Summons: just up the rates like Abidku said and Add pity to ultra Banners and lower the pity amount by 10 or 15 coins on LF Banners
PvP Proud: buff more tags and make it a OPTIONAL Gamemode
Btw I don't think the game is dying this is just a low point of the game bc every year around this time we ask "Is DBL Finally Dying?", and then two months later when Anni happens we're hitting Top Grossing and we're calling this game Peak (exclude 4th anni everyone was shitting on the game then)

Pretty good video I must admit I didn’t like rating match proud too much because at that time my f2p ahh only had 2 good characters, and literally as soon as I got them they got countered and the unit that countered them dominated PvP for about 3 seasons. I also feel like summons and other events are rigged cause as a f2p player sometimes I literally cant grind any cc(like rn for example)
The summon part had me dying 🤣

I spent 60k cc on legends festival and got transforming red golden frieza. So yeah the summoning system can be annoying at times.
I also just spent around 300 erasers just for UI new unique's third slot alone.
Another problem is outdated rewards aside from modes like the summon tickets, they should add units that are about about two years old like 2022 legends festival to the free summon tickets or 4th anni.

Great video abid. Covered a lot of the issues I have with the game. Honestly gotten to the point where I just do not want to play the game. I still have a few teams I enjoy using but anni might be my last hope for the game
Imagine grinding for hours and getting shafted the only good unit I got in aniversary is evoken and they fell off got shafted for ultra ui,ultra Gohan,ultra freza,gt kid Goku (blue), both beast,bardku,pikkon etc
what made the game annoying and unplayable is that if u don't have the newest unit u will get destroyed in events and pvp and its not like u get a lot of crystals f2p
They should add pity system. It's depressing that after spending 24k cc on gohan and frieza you get nothing but outdated sparkings. Anyone will quit after this.

All in all, I think I generally live this video man, short sweet,straight to the point and really exposed legends for what's wrong with it.
I think they need to make it so its easier to get characters to 14 stars because I could be going against people with 14 stars ultra frieza, janemba or just any good unit when I don't have it or have them low stars. The same for zenkais I think they should make it so we can get them bo matter how many stars the units are
another thing with zenkai awakening, they be giving some good zenkais the worst zenkai abilities like kaioken goku, he’s the only usable green frieza saga character lmao
I agree with all your points besides story mode, it's plot is centred around an interdimensional mess that's called the tournament of time. Fighters are brought in from different points in time across the dragon ball universe giving us access to unforseen relationships between characters that had no access to one another in the anime. I really think that it is generally a unique concept and makes for an entertaining story whilst it gives a fair amount of cc that really only improved in recent months cuz props to my fellow vets, but do yall remember when each story mode challenge made you repeat the stage whilst fulfilling certain conditions like using 3 Purple, 3 Heroes and 3 greens and stuff. It used to be agonising but now they've relaxed it. By besides that story is nice, I personally appreciate it, as it's a f2p player's cc mine and is quite entertaining but it depends on your own preference I suppose.

I can agree with everything but story there is definitely a plot I personally just think that it is taking way too long to get where they need to be and the story takes way too long to come

With all of the flaws DBL is getting, I’m starting to think there is no hope of this game ever returning to its former glory, there’s too much P2W factors in there.
Hell, getting a character you like only for it to get overshadowed by newer characters is just a bs move.
Even nowadays, getting cc is too hard for older players now, most of the raids only give 700 **AT BEST**, Coop only gives 300 each seasons, less story modes/events that give good amount of cc, **zenkai is absurd to get, plus if you don’t have old zenkai, you’re fated to spends weeks trying to get 3000 zenkai power for a unit**. The summon is also bs, no guarantee to get the new lf, instead you have ridiculous chance of getting the very old LF that nobody even use + old sucks Sparking and no pity system.
Honestly, I lost faith in DBL nowadays, stopped playing after 2 and a half years. Sticking to Dokkan for the same amount of time and Im doing better than in Legends.
(oh, and pvp is meta-wise, I’m not playing on that garbage game mode again)

Slowly but surely
Dragon Ball Legends holds a special place in my heart; it's been my favorite game for years now. But lately, I've found myself questioning why I keep coming back to it. It's like i love this game but hate it a the same time. If you know you know =D
Every day, i'm opening the game, knowing that I have to go through the same daily missions. It's become a routine, almost a chore, rather than fun experience it used to be. Events literally been same format for like 2 years now, they just change the theme, and i think thats lazy af. The proud pvp was unique and had its lacks but it was still a new idea and it was fun to play it. I hope something hype will be introduced during 6 anii. they teased us with new guild battling system but no news about that since then like wtf.
And don't even get me started on PvP. It's a rollercoaster of emotions. I go in hopeful, trying to give it my all, but more often I find myself facing opponents with characters so ridiculously overpowered that it feels like I never stood a chance to begin with.
But despite these frustrations, there's still something about Dragon Ball Legends that keeps me coming back. Maybe it's the hope that things will get better, or perhaps it's just my undying love for the franchise. Whatever it is, I can't deny that the game needs some serious help.

Imo the game used to be so good until they started releasing units with all the unqiue abilities that made other units special (an amazing example is beast gohan) and after that its just went more downhill, the matchmaking is trash, like legit in rank 50 group S and im versing rank 65 group S ppl theres no way its skill based matchmaking, and dont even get me started on whales...

ok lemmie be serious. The game "might" be going downhill for the playerbase. But the game is making money. Lots of money in fact. That fact alone makes me feel confident about the future. A 100% agree with all the points you mentioned bro. The best thing the devs CAN do is interact and lesson to the players imho. They just need to be more social and that's already a massive step in the right the direction.
As someone who REALLY loves this game. I can only hope for a bright future.

Yes, the game is dying. I've been saying the point of the summoning system and inevitablely the problem with OP units ever since UVB cane out because since then, the game has just been releasing units that dominate the game until the legends team realises that they need to counter the units over and over again in a cycle.

It's dying because of all the over-powered mechanics you have to play around now, vast majority of units are not useable nowadays, and they take too long to bring units back and zenkai them, rip my fav game just bring ultra jiren b4 it die pls

Bro the summoning rate let’s say 0.500% is per 100 CHRONO so lets say you summon a thousand you have a good 5% chance of gettig that unit

They ruined ssjb shallot didn't even give him a custom green card like imagine a custom green card for ssjb and you can have different unique gadge that would make him at least interesting like doing different hard Mission's for every unique gadge and summoning rates are so. Shit i spent 50k on jenamaba im free to play by the way and didn't get anything and story mode honestly its just used for cc grind nothing more and equipments are sometimes almost impossible to get to z plus or godly and another dumbass thing is friendship rank it's not useful and no one does their missions and pvp modes have a lot of potential but they devs don't listen to the player's and if they want me to get limited rewards on co op just to finish begginer missios in legends ranking they can dream about it cause no way in hell im doing that it's already bad enough it takes so much time for free to play players to get one thousand cc
