Beautifully explained. For whom and how much we 'bend' ourselves in life is one of the greatest challenges in life, in sustaining every relationship we enter into. When the 'giving' gets too one-sided then it's time to let go of the relationship, no matter who it is we let go.
Before walking away from the toxicity, a last conversation required with everyone. Then whatever they think doesn't matter to our mental peace.
