If God be for me who can be against me?
For so long, I’ve run from my gifts of glorifying God through videography and storytelling, because of fear of failing and not being good enough.
I’m quick to tell people to believe in themselves. Yet, I didn’t believe in myself.
A month ago I left my job as a news reporter and anchor (for health reasons) to be a full time photo/video specialist and at first I thought I had failed. It takes a great amount of courage to leave your dream career.
But it takes an even greater amount of faith to believe that God has better in store. And that He WILL use the very thing that the enemy meant for evil to turn your situation around for good. He’s turning my fear into faith with each step I take.

I love this, Charity! Congratulations on moving on to this chapter of your career. I too, had to leave my other job after 24 1/2 years. Too much stress, too much demand, a health issue caused by lack of sleep & stress, and not enough personal time with my family. I made a change and it was good!

I would recommend searching stations in your area that you'd like to work with. I worked for a Gray TV NBC affiliate. They have stations all across the country. They also all have their hiring requirements on their webpage for each specific station. Take a look there to see if you meet the qualifications. In the meantime, build a portfolio/demo reel of stories similar to what you see that station covering.@@meinternally
