If you open the bible, and read Ephesians 6:21, it clearly states " Submit yourselves to one another because of your reverence for Christ." But no one reads that, they just focus on wives submit to your husbands verse but even putting that aside, marriage is not about one person leading the other but about two people coming together as one to be companions and to help each other. We also need to be very careful about literally interpreting the bible and not putting in the right context lest we follow verses that say " slaves obey your human masters with fear and trembling" ( see Ephesians 6:5). Understand the context during which the book of Ephesians was written. In summary, religion should not be used as a tool to oppress women. Pray to God for your marriage and he will guide you. You can also read the bible on your own and research the context, you don't need to take people's word for it. Open your eyes!!!

Marriage is a blessing. Leadership is a two way traffic, the leader says the subject follows. However, in marriage leadership is not a subject to subjection but to enlighten the path to prosperous lifestyle for the family. Being the only child, from the age of 10 in my fahm, the submission part encourages me to never get involved in marriage. DJ Mo: A man is a man... No objection. The main question is if you are the man,who is the leader?
