1:05 The helmet has nothing to do with his Adamantium, it's merely a way to control Wolverine to turn him into a weapon. (Weapon X).
Honestly, I like how Comic book accurate it is. Especially the claws.
Someone may have pointed this out already but the wolverine zero CLAWS pickaxe did not come with the crew! It's in the same set but was not given with the skin. The claws EMOTE was given away as a Reboot a Friend reward back during CH4 S1 i believe and the PICKAXE was sold later in a bundle with the emote and pickaxe.
The actuall pickaxe/backbling he came with is the Muramasa Blade.
The emote was given out way before then. During Ch3S3, if you either bought all of the Fortnite X Marvel comics or subbed to the Marvel subscription service, you got the Wolverine pickaxe and emote, along with Spiderman Zero and the whole Iron Man Zero set.

I never got the original 2 skins since I'm a new player. As a huge fan of Wolverine, I love this skin. I kno and understand the skin reference so its just as cool.

I love his helmet on and off, the longer hair adds to the ferocity of the Weapon X look. Also looks like his face is closer to the X-Men/X-Men '97 show? It looks better than his zero skin. Kinda wish the red eye goggles part of the helmet glowed a bit, but otherwise this is a new favorite for me.
Yeah, if you look on the advertisement screens you can scroll through when you're in the lobby, the Wolverine splash screen shows the "X-men/X-men '97" text as the same 3d yellow used on the cartoons.
Difference between the emote claws is that they are longer as he mentioned, but the skins claws are connected to the tubes unlike the emote claws are disconnected and are between his fingers I believe

Ye it’s confirmed there will be a collab this month but we dk if they will be mash ups or MCU redesigns? I think it will be quite unrealistic for them to do MCU reskins for the movie but at the same time they have released loads of reskins of battle pass and item shop marvle skins recently so we will see!

If you read comics and appreciate the Weapon X mini series, this is perfect. The story is great and the art by Berry Windsor Smith was and is amazing. For me this is an awesome skin.

Great review! I also tested the wrap skins for the bullets! Just as a heads up, The "Snikt Snikt" emote was a Reboot rally reward, not a Fortnite Crew reward / item, and it was also possible to get it via X-Men x Fortnite Comics 🙌

I noticed how venompool was able to join your match without you inviting him or her Tabor, and I just wanna give a quick tip. If your reviewing something and don't want anyone to be able to randomly join there's 2 things you can do: you can make it so the creative map can only have 1 person in it (forget the exact method, but its somewhere in the map settings or something). Alternatively, you can go to that tab from pressing the start button to open the tab that's either on the left or right of your screen in fortnite (the one that has the settings menu icon and your profile for fortnite in game). From the profile part at the top, you can set your status to "away" and for the invite permission or whatever set it to "invite only". For some reason you need status set to "away" to make it so friends can't randomly join nowadays, it's weird. Sorry for my lengthy explanation.

Of course because it's part of Wolverine lore, it's very accurate to the comics. Sweaty boys like skinny super hero skins. It's so funny to me how they literally just wear a black skinny skin, it defeats the purpose of the skin with so much cool customization.

It's my favorite look for him since his hair and face are of the best wolverine comic savagelands wolverine minus the blue suit, red facepaint, or his missing hand. But I'm happy with what we got since it references the comics just sucks the equipment on his is not reactive to him pulling out his claws like in the comics it is supposed to not allow him to use them without a "painful shock" that is why the wires go onto the claws😢 would've loved to see that the equipment starts flashing to indicate he is using his powers
I honestly didn't really like the skin before, but after the video, I respect it. Mainly, the gun wrap 😅
This is also an X-men (97') cartoon series collab. From the best 90s Xmen cartoons by Marvel, with the epic theme song.
Also, on a somewhat more related note, I wonder if the wrap counting ammo would work correctly in save the world. Like in most cases it should, but say for example you have an lmg with 100 bullets or more. There's only 2 digits on that ammo counter, so idk what'd happen in that case.
Btw guys depending on the day/night cycle the contrail left behind by the claws changes. Blue ish at night and a sort of orange at day. Really good adamantium claws (may be the best)
If you're in the first person mode later on in the near future. Yes, you could see your ammo count on your wrap. And not gonna lie Wolverine look like a cyberpunk type and a bit Freddie Cougar Vibes. LOL
If you ever need a contrail for Wolverine or Magneto, I think that the Chromic tendrils contrail works the best. It's pretty much liquid metal.
It works for Magneto because he controls metal AND in one comic and X-men 97 he rips the Adamantium off of Wolverine's skeleton.
Same reason for why it works with Wolverine.

I'm confused, the pixaxe looks fire on the wrap skin (10:17) but in the item shop when you wear them with a different skin they look different

I don’t think wolverine zero is a bad skin it almost reminds me of patch (that’s logan’s identity when he goes undercover in the maritime southeast Asian city of Madripoor that’s for all u non comic readers)
Another fun fact, in the Fortnite X Marvel Zero War comics, Patch and The Imagined meet each other at the beginning of the series at a bar in Madripoor. The reason Wolverine Zero wears the patch is because it was The Imagined's idea, since it reminded her of when they first met

As cool as the wolverine skin is I really only want the bundle for the pickaxe because I can take and mix and match it with everybody else but considering it has the extra wires attached to it and the base plates at the back of the hand it brings in extra effects that don't just release when you flex the claws out like with the other sets of claw pickaxes that we've got, for example I use the Billie eilish wings on the xenomorph considering the blacks matchup and there's no discernible color on the xenomorph for the red to stand out as a different shade or a color that doesn't mesh, and because she was in the shop recently I got the x23 claws and so now it looks like he just automatically spits them out but with that extra effect on the back of the hand and the wires it's not going to be as seamless of seemingly naturally integrated part of what's supposed to be a natural part of this character, it works for the weapon x skin but it doesn't really work for the others so I think they would have gone a lot farther with selling the skin if they hadn't made the pickaxe obtrusively different so as to show that there's a reason for having new ones and not just reusing them like what they've done with the Captain America shield where it's supposed to be the same one but they went and redesigned an entirely new back bling and reactive pickaxe just to have something new that collectors would need to spend v-bucks on, I don't appreciate the tactic of it and I wish they would just do something like bringing back older battle pass skins but at a more expensive price point because we know that people are willing to spend this amount of v-bucks on things with the fact that the bundles are as bad as they are, the fact that they are selling $30 skin bundles, not $30 in v-bucks but like $30 in real world money, and just now with the Stars and stripes bundle that's in the shop currently that's like three skins and a wrap and all kinds of other things for $2,000 which is probably the best deal that I've seen them do recently so I don't know why they're so against being inclusionary for newer players, it really feels like there's a divide that they want to keep between the OG players and the new ones and I don't understand that level of thinking because other first person shooters or at the very least other Battle Royale games while they do have exclusive stuff doesn't feel as egregious with the different collections of player bases and in that instance if more so boils down to what the players enjoy from the game as opposed to being original and new players and then inside of those niches it gets more varied
I don't mean to reiterate on an already dramatically long comment but it's just something I've been thinking about a lot recently, it wouldn't even be that difficult of a mechanic to implement all you have to do is just add another tab to the shop that is just labeled as Battle Royale originals or something like that and it's all of the previous battle pass skins that get shuffled through there at a price of 2500 v-bucks for the lower tier ones and maybe $3,000 for the higher tiered ones I don't know but I know people are willing to spend that amount of money so I don't know why they don't go through with it, especially with the fact that we're supposed to have that Disney world coming in and the amount of money they're going to make off of just the Disney skins alone, it would be stupid to not have a way to get some of the older skins

I still think they should've given us more wolverine skins like x-men 97 version or the classic yellow and blue suit from the comics or both styles in one skin. Also the modern orange and brown suit from the comics. Zero war wolverine wears it but it isn't even the full suit just battle damaged to the point where theres none of the suit left which I thought was a wasted opportunity.
wolverine has 4 skins. He has the wolverine xmen, wolverine in his normal clothes (edit style to chapter 2 season 4 that you had to earn) basically another skin, crew pack, weapon x. The crew one is his alter ego James "Lucky Jim" Howlett aka patch. If your a wolverine collector weapon x skin is a must buy. Wolver is the most famous marvel skin and def a buy for me of any edit styles he gets. To iconic of a character to pass up on. Should also come out with another wolverine when his new movie comes out with dead pool.
