  • At home with Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath as he and his growing family continue to honour the legacy of his late wife Jane, who died from breast cancer more than 13 years ago.
Glenn looks back over a glittering cricket career and the achievements of the McGrath Foundation, which is well on the way to achieving its goal of providing a free breast care nurse to every breast cancer patient in Australia.
Glenn and Jane’s children, James and Holly, speak publicly for the first time about their mother’s legacy, the crucial role Glenn’s second wife Sara had in their upbringing and their growing involvement in the McGrath Foundation.

Even in High School he was not just a great cricketer but also a great guy. A result of growing up in a great community. Playing against him as a kid I’m not surprised at what he became.

He married a flower of Australian womanhood, a flower of universal womanhood. A great cricketer, a great man who was brave enough to love her fully. May she rest guarded by angels. May her love for her man inspire men like us to go on with a song of hope on our lips.
God Bless him, his living wife(may she live long and cherished),his children forever.

It's a worthy cause & respect to McGrath for championing it. However, the sheer mountain of money that goes to breast cancer research doesn't appear to have done anything to lower the death rate in 20 yrs. In 2000 approximately 1800 women (40-79) died. 20 years later, 2000. There are questions to be asked here clearly.

When people get to make money... big money out of someone's death .. setting up a foundation to supercharge a sundry (any) worthy cause, one has to wonder whether big game hunting taking their body parts for trophies is really 'on'! NOT on the life radar or the longterm wealth mechanism. ironically, " that's life "
