- Description of the major plate boundaries.
In the video, I include description of convergent boundaries. There are three types of convergent boundaries, continental to continental, oceanic to continental, and oceanic to oceanic.
Divergent boundaries are when lithospheric plates move away from each other.
Transform boundaries slide past one another.

kinda do need school because of your spelling so good job.

I have a question that I totally dont get is plate boundary and plate tectonics the same ???? Because my teacher said to do a 3D plate boundary movement motion and i dont know how if anyone have a link from google to show me please do that because i am doing my project on that and i picked a place to talk to in mexico volcano 🤔 i need help
@Vacuum Cleaner plate boundary’s are like the edges of the plate tectonics. I hope this helps
Oceanic crust is NOT thicker, continental crust is thicker but oceanic crust is denser since it's mostly made of basalt while continental crust is mostly made of granitic rocks which are less dense.
Was looking for this comment to see if I was correct that he said that wrong 😅😂 Thanks for the clarification! Otherwise, this video was great and super helpful!
There are three types of convergent boundaries
1. Continental to continental
2. Oceanic to continental
Oceanic to oceanic
Constructive plate boundary is when two plates move away from each
Conservative plate boundary is something which occurs where two plates slide past each other
Hai
Lol! Bahlahlah
👍🏽
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow lost my account password. I love any help you can give me.
@Mathew Jaiden instablaster =)
Thanks for stopping by MooMooMath and Science.
Stopping or supporting ???
Nice job 👍... the music plz!
MooMoomath and science is my goat
Great, simple, and easy example of plate boundaries! Very nice job!!
This information actually saved my day... thanks
Same
Thanks so much. Got an exam on geography tomorrow, this really helps
A 3 min video is better than hours of notes smh
Thank you, this is what I needed. Super easy to understand :)
👍yes
At 0:50, oceanic crust is NOT thicker than continental crust. Oceanic crust is more DENSE.
why is it dense, if i may ask?
@@xvvvndrrh1193 It is made mostly of basalts, a denser rock than continental crust, which is made mostly of granite.
THANK YOU! I was watching this thinking I could show my students and then BAM....wrong information. >_
Thanks for giving visual translation to this concept, making it actually understandable 👌
Thanks... i was so lost when i did this during school this is so much easier
This really helped me with a science assignment. MooMooMath, you have my respect (and a new subscriber) 😁 tysm!!
Great explanation! It helped me teach my lessons clearly.
Thanks!! Great video to review my geology lesson 🥰
Ngl this is better than my 30+ paged LAS in terms of time management
Very clear and to the point. Thank you!
So clear, thank you ❤
This saved me thanks alot u just earned a new sub :)
Thank you i really needed this for my studies!
isn't oceanic crust denser not thicker than continental? and continental is lighter but thicker? 00:45 for reference
Right
Thank you for this information now I know what's the three different types of tectonic plates now my teacher won't yell at me
This saved my geography grades so thx
Thank you! I understand now 💕
Thank you😘... Its really easy 👍
XD, Thanks MooMooMath this is why I created this account, quick question, everybody comment below!

Correction* at 50 sec mark
Oceanic crust is not thicker than continental but it is denser so it subducts
thanks needed this for my procjet
very well and simply explained
Thank you so much helped a lot...
Nicely explained !! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
This helped a lot
Thanks for the lesson 🤟🤟 I appreciate your help ❤❤💖💖💖🌹💖💖

this video is so goated.
Thanks a lot 🙂
Thanks this helped
Thank you
Thanks for the information :)
thank you for good teacher
Good video. I will be using this in my lessons.
I rewatch this for my science teacher in 7th grade
I love you.
Thankyou so much
Isn't it the magma from the melted peridotite in the mantle that goes up in the volcanos? That's what the professor said in class
thanks
This is great because my class is watching this to. Ha
😁Thanks for this
ty
hi can someone answer this its my homework. how are convergent and transform boundaries related?
Yes
yes
Thanks for this information😀
It helps in my exam
thanks for your effort I have a note that might improve your videos. increase your voice and slow down your talk
I am now a little bit smarter than I was before I watched this video! Yay!
Legends watching 1hour before exam 🤣🤣🤣
Oceanic crust is not exactly "thicker" it is more dense. The continental crust is thicker that the oceanic.
Chapter Full Of Theory 😱
Soooooo easy to understand
love ur name
Ngl, I have a final in 1.5 hours and only got 3 hours of sleep last night because of work. Wish me luck…
Thanks...😁
What plate boundary is responsible for forming a canyon?
One example, the Grand Canyon was not formed by two plates but rather a series of events such as the Colorado River and plate uplifting.
very gd Expanatin
Hi,can i use ur video?
❤️❤️
I have a test in 5 minutes😅
SHOUTOUT BACON. ARAL MUNA KAYO HAHAHAHAHHA
isn't the continental crust thicker than ocean crust?
Tq💋
bruh. in convergent he called the plate on the surface 'oceanic plates'. you confused me
Is it possible for an oceanic plate to transform a continental plate?
yeah
Wie is hier van Graad 7 af?
I was here for continental transform fault... but thanks
Good
I have an final exam on this lesson it’s easy but not that much 😭😅📚📚📚📚📕📕

How here is in 6th grade
HI alleen
Anyone else watching this for SOSE
Check your facts, there are mistakes, for example: ~0:50 oceanic plate is NOT thicker, also check your diagram - the subducting plate is the first to go through partial melting.
