Mid-Century Modern Bookshelves

Hey guys, this week we’re finally completing my home office space! About 2 years ago I made my mid-century modern desk, courtesy of ‪@Foureyes.Furniture‬ from Foureyes Furniture's design. It’s been serving me well since. However, the office was still notably incomplete - enter Johnny Brook from ‪@craftedworkshop‬ ’s mid-century modern designed bookshelves. I knew these two pieces would compliment each other really well, and I’m absolutely pumped with how my home office looks now!
To be totally transparent, I did not receive any plans from Chris or Johnny (honestly, I’m not sure they even made plans for these builds). I took the design ideas and made them to fit my own space. That being said, I won’t be providing plans for sale as these are not my original pieces. Sorry! Though, if you like the style, I know they both have several sets of plans available for purchase, so go check those out!

This video popped up on my recommended. You are great at detailing your steps and explaining why you are doing something. I watch several of the other youtubers you mentioned and I cant wait to check out the other videos youve posted. And of course ive subscribed.

Half lap joints to join the two long boards instead of dominos. No need for 6 ft clamps and no gaps.

Definitely not a bad option, but I’d argue that that route is more prone for mistakes and having to purchase more material lol
