Tour Edge Drivers are worth checking out. A new 721 is very forgiving and reasonably priced as it’s a few years old. Used these are about $130-$175. I know that they are not easily available in your geo.
Agreed. I honestly reckon the C721 is one of the best drivers ever made... I own one but check out the TXG driver bracket from a couple years back if anyone don't believe me! I think they've actually nailed the Goldilocks combo of launch, spin and forgiveness with this club PLUS it sounds, feels and looks GREAT. It's sooo easy to hit and launches so high that you can loft down. Don't be scared to go with the 9.5° head if your swing in that 90-100mph bracket. Mate this club is a gem!
Can regularly pick up PXG's 0811 range for that sort of money... (£239 for Gen 4, £299 for Gen 5 at time of writing). More adjustable and you get the fitting / aftercare service... And use a normal size club wrench!!!
I had the inesis 500 irons 5 - PW and 50/55/60 wedges, got them as my first set of clubs to see if I enjoyed playing golf. I wouldn't even look at this driver, for £250 u can get last year's stealth still in the plastic wrapper on eBay.
Not for that price.. Still get a PXG 0211 driver for £200. Or the Gen5 for £300. Both fully fitted. Having any driver that can't be fitted or adjusted for more than £150 just doesn't make sense now. PXG have changed the game!
Changing the weights kinda like changing the spark plugs on your Aston Martin. Love to see more reasonably priced clubs, the new higher end stuff is out of control. Will drive the weekend golfer into pickleball tournaments. Leave it to corporations to become greedy in excess.
I guess it’s a good thing that Inesis brings a good driver… but, for the same price, I just got a bran new Cobra RadSpeed XB with a Motore X F3 shaft on liquidation sale. I’m pretty sure the Cobra as more value on the second hand market…
Local pro shop has brand new in wrapper radspeed at the same price. Would think that could be a big problem for them aswell. Still some new clubs just older models about if ur looking
I bought the Inesis 500 driver in 2022 for 120$ can, which translate to 74 pounds (GBP), of course it was the end of the season sale. I have compared it with my Taylormade RBZ, Ping G425 and Callaway Rogue, and I prefer my Inesis. My slow swing speed works fine with the Recoil F3 graphite shaft. Don't take any advice for granted, just try it yourself, but in Canada there is no golf simulator in Decathlon, just an inside net. When my brother was shopping for an expensive driver with indoor simulator, I brought my Inesis 500 driver to compare with others, and I'll stick with my el cheapo driver, but Callaway Rogue ST max was not too bad, let's say very good.

Me Too!! I use their TE Forged irons (and TT Score shaft) - simple cavity design, great feel, great looking and "old school" lofts. Nothing better now, just gimmicky and delofted.
I play a KE4 Hyway and an STW2 driver and hit both dead straight. They may not be adjustable, but they do not have to be because they customize the clubs for a pittance.

For a "fully adjustable" driver at a reasonable price, try a Wilson Cortex (from about 2018). They have a carbon crown, two adjustable weights, an adjustable slide bar (like the Taylormade M1) and an adjustable hosel (for loft). Also a stunningly good looking club. I recently bought one NEW for $200 USD, there are still some available(!!).
Problem is for £14 more (£264) you could buy last years Cobra LTDX brand new, a proven high performing driver from a well known brand packed with forgiving technology
like the head size and shape. I for one cannot tolerate those huge club heads with long rears on them. This looks similar to my old G5 or an older Titleist.
I will rather add 50 - 100 pounds and get a decent 2nd hand driver from one of the major brands. But this driver a good option for a beginner golfer or someone playing a few times a year.
I think a new player just getting into the game would probably buy a complete set. Bag and all clubs included. Then if they pursue the game, their budget will guide their next purchase.

I would 100% of the time go second hand mint conditon drivers ,there are so many better options and they all adjust , maybe a Taylormade Sim or Sim 2 , a Cobra F9 , A Titleist TS 2 or 3 a Callaway Mavrik a Ping G400 or 410 just to mention a few that will all hold there resale values where this new one will be worth next to nothing.

Back almost 20 years ago my dad bought a Dunlop Loco driver and still uses it to out drive everyone. He is now 83 and gave it up last year but he swore it's the Indian not the Arrow.
How does the carry distance compare to the Inesis 500 driver and premium brand drivers? I hit about 240yards with the Inesis 500, wonder if it is worth upgrading.
Here's a legit question , how do smaller newer manufacturers actually sell theses rivers at 250 , when you can get proven second hand ones for the same or less? Surely they need to sweeten the deal ...and tbh , it's all marketing at the end of the day, the sad part is nobody gonna wanna rock up at the course with a inesis when you can get an older rogue etc..

As someone who owns Inesis 500 irons and played them for 2 years and love them, I don't think I would pay £250 for this driver , £150-200 would be about correct. A GEN2 PXG, Cleveland HALO, Srixon ZX or used you can pick up SIM2s for £250. Thanks but no thanks.
Nobody who plays golf regularly is going to buy that driver…we are all golf snobs including me…that golf club doesn’t have the technology and in a years time will be worth £50 - 75 at best and buying the 2nd hand sim for example won’t lose that much money if you pay £250 for it….so really don’t know who is going to waste money on it

Don’t understand your “not for a scratch golfer” comments. Seem to be a common thing in your videos on any club that isn’t a “big name”. I played to scratch last season with ZERO big name brands in my bag. A good player can bag just about anything. If having the latest and greatest from big name mfgs was all it took to become scratch, there’d be a hell of a lot more scratch golfers.
So you think a scratch golfer will buy a club that performs 5-10% worse than anything else on the market? This club is clearly targeted towards people with less experience in the game. As for “a common thing” I’d love you to tell me where I’ve said it and it not have the same facts applied

I'm a huge fan of the Maltby clubs at Golfworks. Their irons, woods and hybrids are excellent.
I play the tsw wedges from Maltby. I would never go away from them ever again.

Wilson Dynapower Carbon is the driver I want to see. Going by the reviews I've seen, it's one of the best driver of 2023

Again it just adds to the very large choice to choose from. Has a clicky sound from the hit but not tinny sounding. Seems a decent buy.
