2:30 - I came back after Game 5 to say "Chuck called it perfectly." The Mavs played fast AF in Game 5.
The Clippers were using Zubac to control the paint early but the Mav's speed proved too much for the Clippers.
I know Steve Ballmer is rich, but I'd be pissed if I was paying an expensive benchwarmer like Kawhi all this money to do nothing.

I think one thing that is underestimated in dallas pushing the ball is having luka as a lagging threat deep. If you have 3 or 4 guys push consistently, it’d be interesting to see a defense have to adapt to luka as that final piece coming into an active set rather than the facilitator.

As a mavs fan, it comes down to this. If Luka shoots well, the mavs have a good chance, but the if the clips keep up the 3pt barrage, mavs need at least 65 from Luka and Ky combined. Still, such an amazing series so far. This is great badketball
Even if Luka and Kyrie go crazy, Clippers have better depth. I think Zubac, Mann, Powell, Westbrook, and Coffey are better role players than Washington, Gafford, Lively, Jones, and Exum.

As a clippers Fan I don’t think we can win this series without a fully healthy Kawhi. I do believe the series will be over in 6. I won’t be shocked if they get to game 7 but it’s over. And those folks that they think they don’t need Kawhi you’re casual. Without Kawhi they won’t be on the playoffs. Remember Lebron n Steph teams were battling in the playoffs-in all season. Agree with Chuck. Dallas doesn't know whether to be fast or slow, but I think this is very dependent on Luka. Luka doesn't play fast. Jason Kidd always pushed the ball when he was the PG for Mavs. They tired out their opponents. One of key changes to that Dallas team with Dirk was JKidd. Jason Kidd didn't get enough credit. He even worked on his 3-PT shooting.

I don’t understand why the sport legends always say Harden and Paul go up and down with their production. When the franchise player returns to the lineup everyone goes back to this original roles. If the flow is off instead of mentioning the reasoning for the chaos it’s easy to target the individual that have been producing to keep their team competitive instead of noticing what cause the confusion. When you look at their opponents no one won anything. Kyrie hit a big shot but it’s easy when you not carrying the entire load. The problem with last game is that Clippers were making tough shots, so can’t run it in transition off makes. They also aren’t attacking the rim either.
The pace and transition offense is because of kyrie not luka. What were the numbers prior to kyrie getting there
@@erroneouse1929 Kyrie has definitely had an effect and Luka has learned from him. If you watch the Mavs, you’ve seen Luka giving the ball up early and throwing the TD pass like Jokic. Luka dominates the ball, so if Mavs as a team are 7th in pace, you bet that he’s also contributing to that. You don’t go from 28th to 7th in one year without everyone buying in.
