    Only 25000 of these boxes were made. I reached out to the seller to get more info on the box and company that makes this. Hopefully she’ll get back to me. I know a lot of you are wondering where to purchase this. I bought it on eBay. There is.no website for the company. My guess is that it may be sold at an LCS somewhere perhaps even produced by an LCS. Thanks for watching everyone. I appreciate the comments and support of my channel!

    This 2019 Vintage Card Treasures is precisely the type of product that I love (depending on the price point). As a set builder, this was fantastic for adding clean, sharp, cards from the years that I work on. The ‘88 Ripken was pristine, so again, depending on the price point, that would have been fantastic for me. The pre-80’s cards are wonderful to see!

    Those cards are in great shape. That 69 Rose and the Mantle checklist are awesome and so was that Al Kaline bat relic. Very cool to get the Ken Griffey Jr rookie card that might be grade worthy. That 75 Schmidt is awesome too! Fun break, Jon! I might have to go spend some cash on one of these.
    I agree with you that these seem to be head and shoulders above the rest of the re-pack products.

    I was blessed to have seen a lot of these players in the 70's and 80's. The Yankees were a HUGE draw at County Stadium. I am a True Blue Brew Crew member. I remember 1978 Mike Caldwell went 22-9 2.36 ERA with 23 Complete games.293.1 IP and 131 K's That's nuts. He would have won the Cy Young that year but Ron Guidry was 25-3 with a 1.74 ERA. 16 complete games. 273.2 IP and 248 K's. I remember this so vividly because at the last game of the year I waited outside in the parking lot for the players to come out. Back then they actually came out to their cars and drove themselves home, or to a hotel. Anyway I forgot what players had come out. Jimmy Gantner maybe and Ben Oglive? Again I don't remember exactly. But I saw out of the corner of my eye another player. Everyone was across the lot, so I walkes closer and saw it was Mike Caldwell. He was my IDOL. I was a lefty. I played little league and I wanted to pitxh so bad. Sadly my arm disagreed...lol. But as I approached him I realized and I was about to yell MR.CALDWELL!!!!! He looked at me and went shhhhh! Please. He needed to get to his family at the airport. So I kept my mouth shut. I got to talk to him by the trunk of the car. Told him he was my hero, and I wanted to pitch like him. As he put his gear away he signed my yearbook, and gave me a look and said thank you for not yelling and laughed, THEN he reached in his bag and pulled out his game cap feom the 78 season and put it on my head. Sadly it was TIGHT. Yeah I have a BIG NOGGIN. But he GAVE ME HIS CAP and again said Thanks kid. He shook my hand and left. I stood there in shock. My Mom walked up and saw the cap and was like where'd that come from. When I told her, Mike Caldwell became her FAVORITE PLAYER TOO. This was one of many MEMORIES I have of my days at County Stadium in 1977-1983. I got to meet Robin Yount Paul Molitor, Gorman Thomas, Ben Oglive, George Bamberger, Harvey Kuenn, and even Bob Uecker. I got to sit and play catch with Billy Travers, Jim Gantner, Larry Sorensen. Billy Travers gave me advice that day. He said NEVER throw a curve ball until your 18. It will tear up your arm. Our car had gotten stolen, for a joyride. They found it up by the VA. So while the Sheriff's Dept. took my Dad to find it. Those guys let me sit with them. This was LONG after the game ended. All the players had left. They had a camper in the lot and they were sitting outside on lawn chairs relaxing. Again in 77, 78 things were so DIFFERENT. God I miss those days so much. I apologize for the long comment. This memory for me is so SPECIAL. Seeing the Goose Gossage card and Billy Martin card brought those memories back. Thank you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a Merry Christmas.❄❄⛄⛄🎄🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁🎅
    God Bless you all!

    I checked eBay, $192.00 w/free shipping. As much as I'd love to get a box of these that's too much money for me right now. I was just diagnosed with emphysema and asthma. So as much as I'd love a shot at a Yount and Molitor card, I can't, and it SUCKS. Like you said you could go out and buy some cards individually, but there is NOTHING like opening a fresh pack and poof there's a Griffey Jr. rookie card. I remember getting my first 1989 Upper Deck Griffey from a box that I bought. It was like finding a treasure...lol.

      Matt Schwartz the point of opening this box is to see what is pulled and to share with our subscribers. That’s what makes this kind of product fun and exciting. What fun is it to just buy a few of these cards on eBay or at an LCS? Zero. You have to look at this from the entertainment value and also what incredible cards are pulled from these boxes.

  • @DaveWEarle
    @DaveWEarle Před 3 lety +1

    I am amazed; I haven't even finished watching the video yet, and stopped to make this comment. Would you believe that you made this video a year ago, and there are still 3 boxes to be had (at least on the site where I found them they are saying they have 3 boxes)? EDIT: After I made this comment, I checked on Ebay, and there are three listings, two for the 2019 boxes, and one for the 2014 boxes. For the 2019 listings, they say there are more than 10 available; how could that be if there were only 25,000 made? We're almost done with 2020, so it doesn't seem right there there'd still be that many out there. I am REALLY wanting to pull the trigger, but ugh! $240-$250? Is it worth it? From what I've seen so far, I am really thinking it might just be worth the price I would pay. You are pulling some REALLY nice cards out here. I recognize many of them, as I have the '87, '80, and '75 sets. Man that Rose is sweet, as well as the Ryan - I've just started collecting, and Ryan is one of the players I want to focus on. Ok, going to watch the rest of your video. Awesome so far, thank you.

    Whoa the Black border 71 Topps are hard to keep anywhere close to even Good/VG, yet they look great. You said it perfectly, they look like they were pulled from a pack that day from those years. Amazing quality. I really was. Iffy on this, but it's a ok set.
    I was poking around eBay and 1971 stars in really good condition are selling HIGH. This year is EXTREMELY HARD even impossible to find mint. Any bump and the black border showed it.

    • @JonsSportsCards
      @JonsSportsCards  Před 4 lety

      Edster III thanks for the comment. I took a really close look at all the vintage card in particular the ones from the 60’s. Ran some tests on them. They all seem to be authentic. It makes zero sense to reproduce unknown players cards. My guess is that these cards are from collectors sets. All of the cards are in mint condition. I broke a 2014 box and had the same outcome. I also compared a lot of the cards to ones I pulled as a kids and they’re identical in stock, look and texture. There is one 52 Mantle in the product.
