It does actually. McLaren engines are VERY well known for failing on stock 720's, 570's, etc. McLaren is a terrible car to buy if you aren't planning on spending another 100k afterwards on modifications; building & bulletproofing the car.

Trying to bring PMR back today would be a legal and logistical headache too big for any current-day producers. The 2000s was just built different, for better and worse
Could work as part of a car enthusiast CZcams channel but doing it right. Like doing do-overs at car meets/events but also having segments of racing etc. in it for a more mature audience but also jokes and skits that could bring the younger generation in as well. Each episode being 10-20 minutes long and extended cuts on a stand alone channel focusing only on the mechanical part of it. The legal side would be to have paperwork ready and a team of 2 mechanics, a role like xzibits in PMR, videographer and editor. The cars could also be checked afterwards and undergo tests to see if they're okay for the roads.
