    Gabriella Sabatini looks stunning. I bet she still hits the ball well. Congrats to Casper! Hope he does well in the clay court season.

    It's great to be a Norwegian tennis fan now that Casper has won his first ATP250 title, and that on Argentinian clay and on the great claycourt legend Vilas court. A humble young man, but not to be humbled when playing.

      I started playing tenis because of Guillermo Vilas... I am 55 now and still hitting the yellow fuzzy ball... Guillermo was marvellous, such a talented fighter, and a real gentleman on the court, compared to Mc Enroe or Nastase

    The way Rudd played at the ATP Cup, it was destined for him to win a title soon. Congrats to him.

    A week Pedro will never forget! He entered Buenos Aires MD as LL and beat three players outside the top 90 to reach the SFs, where he got a walkover ... always had a lot of potential and talent since young age but unfortunately suffered a lot with injuries, he finally got lucky here... Better late than never...
    A shame he barely moved in this final to make it competitive... still a run he'll never forget...
    Rudd will have for sure a decent career with multiple titles specialy on clay but that's it! i don't see him as a future elite player!!!

      First every player should play all tournament why all top players playing at Rotterdam few of them should played this tournament

    • @guillezorro
      @guillezorro Před 4 lety +7

      @@jc-sy5ic 1. Because most top players are from Europe and can't be arsed to travel all the way to Argentina/Brazil. There's enough travelling involved as it is.
      2. Rotterdam is a 500, BA a 250
      3. Clay is a bit of a specialist surface and most top players don't consider this their favourite (with the obvious exceptions of Nadal and Thiem. But even Rafa doesn't bother with this part of the season anymore, prioritising rest ahead of the Sunshine Double)

    Un capo, Casper. "Cuídense" un tipo al que le convidaría un mate. La alegría que Buenos Aires sea la casa donde ganaste tu primer título. Gracias por ese tennis fluído y que puedas consolidarte como un especialista de esta superficie que el tennis moderno quiere desaparecer y que en Argentina es tan querida. Un primer fruto tenístico de la academia de Rafa y Toni Nadal. Congrats.

    A particular edition of the tournament. Without an argentinian final, wihout an equalated final. Ruud, a player that is growing and improving. Sousa, a worker or tennis, solid, afortunated lucky loser, used his chance very well. I love "el Abierto de Buenos Aires" but there were many errors. May be change the perspective: a sports, not a business. ATP must rethink many rules and exigences: Buenos Aires must be a ATP 500 simce few years ago. Now, that generates situations like this week. Thank you for the final's highlights. No highlights during the previous rounds.

    To be fair, Sousa really had nothing to do in a final like that. He was lucky that Diego was injured; nevertheless great effort for him but poor final in all honesty. Congratz to Ruud tho, he can be really dangerous on clay in the next years!
    I would really appreciate a sub :) I sub everyone back.
