This is the real 'Into the Unknown', not what Frozen gave us.
One time I was in a coma for like 3 weeks. It was a near death experience. I'm really connected to this series because it was "loosley" kind of like this for me, a very confusing, peaceful, sometimes scary journey through your own mind... Or wherever it was.
My dad was the one who taught me how to overcome fears, to not be afraid of everything. I’ll never forget his lessons, or forget him
Today is the 4 year anniversary of my dad’s death, and I decided to watch Over the Garden Wall and my mom watched it with me (it’s her first time watching it). It was nice to able to share something with her that she actually enjoyed, especially something that she didn’t know I felt this way about.
The camera doorbell kept alerting us that someone was there, but everytime we checked the footage there was nothing. Everytime this happens my mom says maybe it’s dad trying to come home, but after watching this she just said that maybe he doesn’t know that he’s gone.
If that’s the case, I hope there’s someway I could help him.

I imagine this in a scenario where an old man is reflecting on the life he lived, and cherishing his “Golden memories” if you will.
I so dearly hope that I can someday live the way I want to. A small house tucked out of the way, filled with antique furniture and warm, nostalgic smells wafting out the kitchen window. Wind chimes playing in the breeze, a rocking chair or two on the porch, sweet vintage music playing from somewhere inside. A room meant only for writing, with a desk by a curtained window and an ornate lamp, with notebooks and manuscripts strewn about. I don't know how to play the piano, but if I did, I'd own an old one, put it in my living room and play this every day. This song, and really the entire OTGW soundtrack, reminds me of my desired lifestyle. By listening to this song, I keep up hope that one day, someday, I can find my true home. :)
Gosh, this song reminds me of when I think of my past. How it was so beautiful and carefree, some sad but mostly wondrous, mainly in my High School years. Before COVID happened and took away all that I loved so dearly. My school life, chaotic but enjoyable, my group of friends, my school job, good grades, and my stable well-being. Ever since the pandemic closed my school down, my life never felt the same ever since. All of my memories since became deeply bleak. Mere fond, but old memories that I hold onto. Wishing, for those sweet times to come by again. Alas, the happy memories begin to fade and reality becomes a burden. I will move forward, and may I perhaps lie, that I will have those golden days once more in the future.

One of my favorite shows. I love the storytelling, animation, the beautiful soundtrack, etc. I watch it every October and I don't think I will ever get tired of watching it.
I remember watching this when it came out and becoming enthralled by this show and as i grew older i had just came home from work and randomly remembered this show and wanting to watch it.
I was listening to this song because I enjoy it, but then I began to remember my cat, Cassie. He passed away on my birthday this year. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him. Kidney failure sucks, and I just want my best friend back. There are so many firsts I thought he would go through with me. College, my first house, graduation, the holidays... but at least I was there with him through his final journey. "Dancing in a swirl of golden memories; the loveliest lies of all"... I miss him so much.

This show got me through some tough times. I would watch this show, and although right afterwards I would have to leave my room to be with my abuser, for a brief moment, I was safe. I was in my room, in my bed, I was okay. And now, years later, when I listen to this I'm back in that bed. My mother is just down the hall, my childhood pet is a whistle away. Everything is there where I left it. Even if it's for a brief moment, I can be sure I haven't lost the most important things in my life. My friend is a phone call away, for a brief moment, and I am there. I am in my bed, maybe even under my old blanket. My socks have holes in them because it was the first time I lived in a house with tile, and I didn't like how it felt on my bare feet. I'm wearing a pair of pj's I borrowed from my mom, because we bought a matching pair a few years ago and I outgrew mine. it's a bit too big, but it fits me just right. I wish I could go back there forever, to hug my mom and pet my dog, to call my friends and wear holes into my socks. But, even if it's just for 2 minutes and 45 seconds, I can go there. It's not long enough to do everything I want to, but it's enough to do what I need to. It's long enough to be okay, for a brief moment.

You walk into your warm room and sit on your bed, intrigued by the announcement of new show that will be playing on the TV soon... After a few minutes, it starts. Sunday, May 28th 12:37, I can’t really sleep, I saw how people use this as a diary and I decided I’d do the same.
Yesterday was ok, it was our second night of our musical performances. There were some issues but it went well. I’m just stressed is all, I recently went through a breakup and Just sitting here alone in my room listening to this song is relaxing.
Listening to this song reminds me of a time when I had friends, a time I had a positive view on life, a time I believed I will have a happy and colorful future, all those times I had for years, the shortest one was the time I had a happy family.... a happy childhood I never had.....

The one that proves everything for the past year was a waste of time. But then again, maybe it won't be, but the lattitidue is narrow and the optics are grim.
I would take vampires and dollhouses over this feeling. And maybe that's why I'm here and maybe that's why out of a million videos of this song out there, I'm here, and I happen to come across the one person who made it a time capsule of themselves.
