I got a 5oz bottle of Wanted By Night that I got for $45 back when they were cheap. I almost never come out on top when it comes to getting stuff cheap but this and Kenzo edp (got for $30) were two of my best purchases.

YSL LNDL EDT. It will open one’s eyes (or nose) to a side of “cologne” that they never knew existed. In the US, most men wear a body spray. Maybe Axe or Old Spice, or maybe a little better with a Bath & Body Works body spray. But most men smell like a generic “cologne” scent. La Nuit de L’homme is the perfect combo of different yet mass appealing.

Agree with so many of these- wish I had have seen the request for a must try once. I would have suggested Ferragamo Uomo Signature as a left fielder. I swear it has to be edible.
My throwbacks Avon wild country was the first cologne I had. Followed by Stetson, Darrak Noir. Move to blues Nauticas, Cool Water, Polo Blue. Soul from Liz Claiborne. Moved to black colognes Polo black, and Kenneth Cole, my favorite for years was Vintage Black. Tried Invictas, Y, Sauvage, Valentino Uomo, been looking for something new for a while to be my new signature cologne.

So with gucci intense oud being done, what would you reccomend that would be very very close to the notes, profile, quality and performance. Equal to if not better, any price. Oud, amber, warm spice, red fruit, smoky, rose, ambergris
YSL La Nuit Del L’homme should’ve made this list. I can never forget the craziest unsolicited compliment that I received while wearing that fragrance. Absolute must smell 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
A lot of people don’t mention that Wanted by Night is discontinued which is why Wanted by Night is growing more expensive on discount websites

i didn't wear fragrance as a kid only started as a teen with nope aquatic but Kouros, then Van Gils Strictly back then only called it Van Gils then between sheets cool water aqua di Gio so started out strong then varied a bit
My first cologne was Preferred Stock. For my son I let him pick from my collection

Are you ever going to review some Aaron Terence hughes fragrances? Very odd that you haven’t in years, his fragrances are unbelievable AND he’s quite popular on social media
So on my fragrance journey I've tried everything from super cheap, to expensive niche, to overpriced designer (lookin at you LV), but in my opinion, Terre D'Hermes EDT is just the absolutely perfect fragrance all year round for me. I know it's not for everyone, and for some fragheads it may not be "unique" enough, but to me it is a super complex fragrance. I smell it differently and it makes me feel differently every time I wear it. It is suitable for just about any occasion and I get compliments on it fairly regularly. It isn't a super projecting, beast mode fragrance and I love that about it. As a signature scent, it's a 10/10 for me.

Hello Mr ash, i have a question?? Im lookin for a clone of a discontinued fragrance called Stetson untamed. It will be a gift for my Dad.
The top note of the fragrance is lemon lime with heart notes of carnation lavender, and sage. The base notes are patchouli and woods...
Not knocking Drakkar at all but I would say it’s a more mature scent. I buy it for my day every few years or so and he’s early 60s.

A co-worker wears Dior Homme Intense and it's a nice fragrance on him, but iris just isn't my cup of tea.
Yeah, iris is a note that doesn't do it for me either. Reminds me of the late 80's/early 90's and makeup/perfume on my teachers, aunts, my mum..... I really can't explain why it reminds me of that time period but it does. Wasn't a great time in my life so yeah....

I love Dr squatch I even feel some scents compliment whatever fragrance I’m wearing. Woodbarrel bourbon or birchwood breeze, even Thors hammer pair perfectly with Michael Malul intense

Dior Homme Intense is the one that tickles my pickle. Wanted by Night is a beautiful mess. I remember the first time I smelled it and getting floored by it. Coming back to it after a few years makes it obvious that it's the lab experiment in a blender. It's enjoyable but all over the place.

If you know anyone going on holiday to Europe or the UK, get them to pick you one up. That’s probably the most guaranteed way and it should only be around $170 or so. 👍🏻

I hate Drakkar Noir. This is a tacky, cheap, WAY outdated smell. In the same league as Kouros (yikes), Fahrenheit, Cool Water, Chrome… they were once great colognes but they’Ve had their moment of glory. There are so much more modern takes on this that you shouldn’t waste your time or money on this. Move on.
Drakkar noir is so bad I use it as a toilet scent and even for that it's really not great.
