The club got relagated and with the backdrop of the financial crisis he couldnt get the right cash flow into the club. I'm pretty sure he knows more about football finance than the average fan

      @@CRG492 it is my understanding he did not inherit the money. He built a business and created his wealth and he has said many times he should have sold the club earlier than he did but held on due to an emotional attachment to the club.

    Noone disputing the career Sterling had. What Simon is saying is that Saka's never gonna be world-class just like Sterling never was. KDB, Silva,Yaya were world class.

      Who cares about this label? Sterling has been so unfairly treated especially for someone who doesn’t really talk a lot and is very professional. They find every way to minimize his accomplishments.

    Saka will be very happy if he has the career of raheem sterling. I like Jordan but he's never liked sterling, like a lot of football fans tbh. Very underrated player who pep got the absolute maximum out of. Glad you said World class, Terry because he was. Scored pivotal goals in 17/18 and if he wasn't around in 18/19 liverpool win the league.

    Been observing Jordan for a while now and I'll say it directly if the other comments won't. i'm 90% sure he mentioned Sterling specifically because he is racist. Not many people even consider Sterling world class anyway. Had some good seasons in a City team where everyone looked good. His hype was never even on the same level as Rooney or Kane nevermind Messi, Ronaldo, Cruyff, Maradona etc.

    Jordan is right to compare him to sterling, he was supposed to be amazing but ended up just being very good. Hes had a great career but hes never been world class like he was supposed to be. All hes saying is arsenal fans are propping saka up to be the next Henry but he could end up being the next Sterling. Hes not wrong.

    Both United and Inter are very tough games. United will be a the top of their game and last game of the season for them. City will have one eye on Istanbul. Inter are a much better team that we give them credit for and have a very good resilient defence which will be difficult to break down. So Guardiola is correct ( except about his age!)

    Firstly he’s an older guy, secondly english is not his first language so if he says little boy, he probably meant he was at Camp Nou as a young man. Shhsh why laugh at that smh. Anyway Pep has proven he is the best manager we have seen in our lifetime, a lot of you up coming managers out there should listen and take notes, especially if you have to go to multiple leagues and deal with press and the “criticism” that comes with it.

    Steven Gerrard is an example of world class because he changed games on his own and consistently turned up in the big games. There is an argument for Rooney here as well. Players like Sterling, Kane, Rashford are not world class, they don't impact big games consistently but it doesn't mean they are not great players.
