When Williams soul was lifted from him he nearly forgot everything. Bit by bit things are coming back to him, he almost has his full memory back but anything about Fredbear is blurry.
Golden freddy only recognizes Springtrap as William. Since he was shut down after the diner closed he was unaware of what happened to Springbonnie. So he's on edge about seeing Springtrap, thinking it's still William.
