Honestly I miss my Glowstone mug when on holiday I recommend it to all coffee or tea lovers the right temperature and bone China makes a big difference to the taste
I got given a Glowstone mug as a gift about a year ago, and I didn't think much of it at first I just thought, it was a fancy mug. I started using it for my morning coffee and was quite impressed with how long it stayed hot for. Very convenient, especially when I get ready for work. What I didnt expect was it made my coffee taste nicer. I never really noticed how much more bitter my coffee was when cold until I'd drunk out my Glowstone a few times. It actually stopped me enjoying coffee properly out of a non-heated mug. So I ended up buying myself another Glowstone. I would say that £129 seems like a ridiculous price to pay for a mug.... until you've owned one.
Yeah it's a surprising thing that I didn't think I would get for myself. Now I just want one for latte art 😂
I own an ember mug, and for the first few months, really enjoyed the experience of always having coffee at the perfect temperature. But inevitably I would forget to charge it overnight again and again. And ultimately, I decided I sort of like the experience of coffee cooling down even to room temperature. I kind of like taking a last shot of cold coffee at 10 AM from the cup I made at 8 AM. That said, this mug is much nicer to look at than the ember mug, and might be interested in giving away my Ember and getting this one. I at least like having it around, but I can’t say that it’s part of my daily routine.
The best smart mug on the market, i honestly dont use anything else! Ive had 3 of these and my 1st one from 3 years ago still works, top quality from start to finish!!

The perfect smart mug/cup for me would be one that keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold

The thermometer is called compass by Nucleus, but you can use any other infrared thermometer for ~20€

I have an ember mug but would have preferred this one based on style and material.
Yeah I love ceramic. Bone china is perfect for hot drinks. I use this mug all the time!
No point in having that cup since my cup lasts about 5-10 minutes. P.S. Good luck with the coffee shop, hope to visit one day!

Try contacting glowstone, your clearly having issues and im sure if still under warranty youll get your mug fixed or replaced 😀
Even if you are out of warrantee, please contact Glowstone if you are having issues. They will be more than happy to help
I was dubious about buying one of these, given the price, but I'm so glad I did. It keeps my brew hot for up to an hour and each sip is at the perfect temperature, meaning I dont have to suffer with cold, bitter coffee.
Love that it's bone China - way better than the plastic rubbish Ember make their products from. Absolutely worth the money.
Does the glowstone mug stay hot for as long as it is on the wireless charger coaster and can the Glowstone actually heat up a room temp liquid? Would be nice to see a drop test comparison between the Ember mug and the Glowstone! 😉
I don't think it works while on the charger... I haven't used an ember one, I would do a comparison but it's not worth buying one since this video didn't perform very well, I think cups are a boring topic for most people on YT 😅
How are you liking the e61 machine as I know it's a big departure from your usual saturated group you get on your Silvia
I definitely prefer the Silvia Pro X. Heat exchanger machines are a little bit harder to get consistent shots. It still does a good job, but I prefer something with more control
