We need a snare version of this
Yeah that would be a good video also but in my opinion it’s also way easier to find snare licks online then tenors
Fr
He has pretty much done that already when he posted his rudiment videos.
The drum corps environment stressed me out a ton, and I stopped picking up my sticks the past few years. PERHAPS this could be a way to get back into drumming, because reviewing these sounds fun
10:29 Loopy Grandma is happy that she didn't post a comment before she got to this part!!! 😘🥁🔥🥁😘
Sup!
Gotta love the Loopy Grandma!
Hi Loopey Grandma!
Day 3 for our quest for the ultimate tenor flub line! My idea would be to take apart a set of tenors. Each of the drums would go on their own carrier or stand. Each player would get their own notes like a bass line or like normally playing a set of tenors.
You dumb
A flub line playing bass style music?
Sounds like hell for no reason, so I don't think this will fly very well
Play jig 2 like that
@@isaacs9583that would be really easy
3:42 hey my drum instructor was in blast on snare! 😀
we need this for snares
So nice having instructional tenor drum videos on youtube!
Good morning! This is video 106 of me asking for a drumline gym made out of various marching percussion instruments, such as the tenor barbell, and bass drumbbells.
We needed this, thanks
another banger from the goat himself
“That guy”- aka VERN JOHNSON THA ABSOLUTE LEGEND ON TWO COASTS AND ALL TIME GOD OF THIS SHIT
Best part of the video was definitely your "candyapplization" of those rudiments 😂
Awesome video, helps a lot.
This is some great educational material right here! Good stuff especially for students looking to write
DITTY 🔥🔥🔥
You are awesome.
Drum go boom!
TYSM
Jig 2 is how you impress any non percussionist, better yet, do it blindfolded.
Man, I wish I had this simple amount of instruction 25 years ago when I was in the line. Maybe you can do a video for snare and even base. This simple 20 minute video is gold for new and upcoming percussionists.
This is video number 10 of me asking you to make a base drum into a snare drum. Maybe snases?
Loved the 2004 diddy lol and u were doing snare and basses
Exceptional Video, Eric. I don't play tenors, but I will airdrum the shit out of these patterns!!
3:40, and that “guy” kinda did the beginning of the BD 90 tenor feature because it’s non other than Vern Johnson who marched BD on tenors from 88-90, 92 and then of course Blast!
“Easy!” As he has four limbs on the thumbnail lol
I look forward to video where you show licks that look easy, but are really hard to play! (especially together with other drummers)
I don't play drums and never will. I feel like all these would still be way too hard, lol. You make them all look easy!
Makes me miss college football
Left sweep, Right sweep, Helicopter, Helicopter, Cross-stick Boom Every 90's HS tenor solo
3:40 also seen in bac23 quad break
If we create a drinking game for every time you do a stick flip....
You should do this for snares
Hey emc production, i am a big fan of yours and i have troubles when hitting the drums fast, you see when im playing the drums very fast, my wrist/hands seems to get fatigued easily and it gets hard, do you have anytips to solve this problem?
This is video #47 of requesting Eric to do another "Behind the Gock Block" Episode.
The last episode was 10-20-2020! It's time for Eric to bring back all of his characters!
your my rock pookie emc
also do you use snare sticks for tenors or actual tenor sticks?
Actual Tenor Sticks
@@EMCproductions thanks EMC. You're seriously one of my top drumming idols ever.
Excuse me EMC can you make a video (meaning tutorial) on how to play the one at 11:19 because I want to try it on Quads?
Lego tenors???? Love your vids BTW
Good morning
What kind of drumstick do you use emc? Because i would like to know so that i could buy a drumstickt that a pro drummer is using.. can anyone tell me?
What if you made tenortenors, where you have five of each drum placed roughly where the single drum should be on quint-tenors
If only our Colorguard was this coordinated…
I think there's another definition of "easy" when you did this your whole life 😀
how many drums do you own?
Day 1 of asking for a video breaking down stick tricks for tenor n snare
Octopus vs. Spider
Ultimate drum showdown!!!
UNTIL
...
THE CENTIPEDE SHOWS UP.
theres something missing about that jig 2 tutorial. you forgot to add the crowd screaming at the top of their lungs
Awwww man. I was really hoping to see “The Machamp Lick” based on the thumbnail
So on the tenor the half note means a crossover. Then what about snares?
In my experience, usually same thing. The music notation will probably tell you for sure
8:23
HERTAS ARE THE MOST METAL
I challenge you to make a tenor with gongs
Day 2 of asking for Timbors (Timbale+Tenors)
The cleanest version of jig two on this platform lol, every version from highschoolers is TICKY AS CRAP
13:24 i heard kerosene 😶😶
Danny Carey enters the chat
EMC: "Expert Village doesn't know what the triple beat sounds like."
Also EMC: 0:27
Triplets =/= triple beat/check pattern 4. What he played was triple beat aka check pattern 4 and expertvillage played check pattern 4 but claimed he was playing triplets
dude throws down ditty and acts like it didnt happen
Lol
Anyone else saying "doylee doylee doylee" when he was playing them
34th!!! lol
No more good mornig :(
5:35. Ubiquitous illness
First
Yup! Good job
@@EMCproductions thanks!
Oh this are EASY licks!
*Begins the lists with polyrhythms*
Sure..."Easy"....🤣🤣

Day 75 of asking for sleigh bell tenors
Day 1 of asking for you to play stinkin garbage
Fivetuplets? Do people not know what Quintuplets means or something?
Poorly mic-ed drums..
Heading off to winter drum practice today
