  • English Noha "Zainul 'Abedeen" by an unknown reciter
Videos from "Caravan of Pride" and "Mukhtar Nameh"
A noha about the trials of Imam Sajjad (as).
    Noha Lyrics:
    Chorus:
    Zainul Abedeen sweet Zainul Abedeen
Forever tears will flow for you suffered so
    1
From the plain of Karbala you were dragged so far
Shackled with wicked chains Inflicted with such pain
Never eyes could see how they tortured thee
How blood fell on your hand amid the sweltering sand
    2
For what crime were you taken there? How could they be so unfair?
Your crime was to call for Islam for the benefit of man
They dragged you from town to town. They tried to bring you down.
They tried to break your will and in your mind it's weakened still
    3
In the court of cursed Yazeed, attacked you they surely did
Zainab protected you as your illness weakened you
To fight another day was the only way
To save the message of Allah you surely suffered so
    4
For years oppression would stand upon that wicked land
Of loathsome Karbala where innocents murdered were
No place was ever safe for the Ahlul-Bayt
So lonely abandoned you stood for the sake of good

Poor Imam Sajjad. This is so sad; he was so ill, but he had to live to spread Islam. He really wanted to fight. To avenge his family. But he couldn't.
Labayk ya Hussayn. لبيك يا حسين

Ahlul bait is a conduit of empathy the likes of which humanity has never seen. We grieve. We love. We cry. We die. We survive.... We survive for the sake of ahlul bait! Never has sadness passed soo far down. Never has empathy been so weaponized! Surely one day mankind will realize the miracle which this incredible empathy truly is. For Allah Himself did say: “ and do not say that a believer is dead! Rather he lives!” Surely this statement can get no clearer than in the case of our beloved Prophet’s children? For surely, never not for one moment have they truly been dead! Never for one moment have they been forgotten! Never have they been cast to the oblivion which is in the realm of the dead! They live in us! They are as alive if not more so! The fire of their spirits are inside us all! They animate us. They enliven us. Without them we are incomplete. Our lives meaningless. The ahlul bait are a living breathing miracle akin to the Quran itself! For as long as the Quran Survives so shall the Ahlul bait! They are bound together by The Will Of The Master Of us all! Never will they part, one from the other, until they reach the fountain of Kathar! ALLAHUMA SALI ALA MUHAMMAD WA ALI MUHAMMAD!
