Yup, keep going
In the fifth the female speaker doesn't actually say that creating innovative popular music is impossible. She is just insinuating that it is more complicated nowadays because of the influence. A listener can only guess that the answer is A by writing off other options.
She says: " most of the innovations That took Place in It happened by the end of 1970's, After that all have been copies". So the answer Is A as She outlines the difference between music before That years and that One of next years.

Thanks a lot! I am not sure how to judge part 4. Surely, this is approved by the most clever of institutions, but I have the feeling that some things may be incorrect.
FOR EXAMPLE: Speaker 3 talks about "points of discussion" and "saying to each other", but somehow this is not a meeting, but a concert? Or speaker two says that "it was a shame, when it ended", yet this apparently shows, that he left, before it ended.
My key is: 21G 22D 23D 24G 25B 26C 27F 28A 29A 30H
Any thoughts on that?
ou mean your key: 23 A and 25 B ?
In part 4 - for some questions, you must listen carefully to be able to understand the whole content and get the right answer. Do not just base on some words and jump to conclusions. A concert and a meeting may have something similar but actually they're so different.
Your answer 23 A and 25 B, are not correct.
Listen again and see the answer for question 25 cannot be B, it must be 25 A.

Woman: One thing that's quite interesting about popular music is how derivative and imitative it is. You see, most of the innovations that took place in it had happened by the end of the 1970s, and after that it's all been copies of what had already been and gone.
Man: That's just not true. There's lots of really innovative
new music going on now and there always will be. Every new generation develops its own styles and sounds that are unique to it. Woman: No, they just think that's what they're doing.
Actually, they're just recycling old things. Granted,
they sometimes do that very well, but it's all been
done before. The truth is, it's new for them but it's not
actually new.
Man: But the fans, the public, they don't see it that way
do they?
Woman: No, they buy the music and they go to concerts by the latest successful or fashionable bands and singers and they think it's all being done for the first time. It's only older people like me who spot the similarities with music from the past. Like a lot of things, influences pass from one generation to another, and it's not always a conscious thing.
@@hometrier9140 Q5: A is correct answer, cause both B and C are incorrect.
C: popular music has always been an overrated form of music >> No information from the speaker supports this one >> incorrect
B: All modern popular music is a poor imitation of older music. The woman mentions about imitative, but not actually points out that all modern popular music is a POOR imitation >> B is not correct.
C: The woman says "No, they just think that's what they're doing.
Actually, they're just recycling old things. Granted, they sometimes do that very well, but it's all been
done before. The truth is, it's new for them but it's not
actually new". >> it's really hard to know that original popular music is genuinely created by the owners. >> C is the correct answer.
