Carbon credit insurance enters the scene

As carbon markets mature, buyers want to protect their assets, just like any other asset class. Now, a wave of providers, both emerging startups and traditional institutions alike, are stepping in to insure carbon credit investments. In this session, we’ll hear insurers and buyers talk about the risk-based questions that buyers need to address. Some of these questions are: how are insurers able to look at risks in different types of projects? How do insurers guarantee the credibility of the offering? How do both sides deal with pricing and the complexities that exist in the market?
