Sir, instead of doing SIP, is it a good idea to keep adding one time amount to your mutual fund on every market dip? Theoretically it sounds good but what happens in real life?
When market u will not have that much money to take full advantages of dip
If I have money for SIP why wouldn't I have it when there is a market dip?

Go for additional purchase only by looking at nav instead of blind sip which invest the same amount and on same day of month everytime
It will work well if you predefine a rule and follow it with discipline. But that is the trickiest part.
Because when market falls we wait for it to fall further and then keep waiting. The opposite of this happens in bull market where market never falls.

This is Ankush here and I am new to your channel subcribtion. Heard you wished to stop the MF series in live chat session on 23-Oct. Request you to please continue the same. I am a pretty ardent investor in direct shares but do not have a MF portfolio or a SIP program. Neither do I know the concept of how to evaluate whether a MF is worth investing. So banking on your series to get an insite into this asset class. Have a plan to start a MF portfolio for my self very shortly.
I too had started my channel on Technical analysis of shares but could not continue. You can check that out as well and would be great if I can receive some advice on how to continue.
