Do you blip the throttle when you downshift or is it handled electronically? Do all GT3 cars use power steering? What are the forces at the wheel like? I notice during corners you are sawing the wheel, so to speak, is this because of a stiff wheel or are you looking for grip? Thanks, cool vid
no they do not blip the throttle on downshifts,yes they all use power steering.not sure about how the forces on the wheel work.and i think the sawing of the wheel is results of feedback coming to the wheel.I hoped i solve your question :)
They do it (sawing the wheel) )to maximise traction, and turn the car more effectively. Beyond a certain steering angle, the front wheels will stop turning the car, and start slipping. So the driver brings the wheels back to a steering angle at which they have grip, and he turns the wheels further until they slip again. The driver does this repeatedly and rapidly, to maximise the vehicle's turning ability.
