I freaking fell in love with Whisper when I pulled her 6 star blessing! I use Cruelty blessing with Relentless. She hits so many times that I find it better to help the entire team do more damage and well as boosting her damage gained on her own moves. Great video. Always love to see you break things down

im going the 6star phantom touch relentless build, been using it for a while now in hard hydra and she smacks! she got replaced by a cadaver team for a few weeks but now thats gone its her time to shine again

So been looking into stuff and would be interested to know what about Abbess, her damage is based on the opponent's Attack or Defence x her multipliers. So Nightmare Hydra has for example 11892 which is way more attack than I've seen on even the best-built champs and she has no damage cap, now her built right in savage I'd imagine should hit harder than anyone because while most attack champs you can get their attack up to 6000 possibly 8000 she's using 12000 and without a cap on damage shouldn't that do more than a champ like Gnut?

Whisper was my first void shard when I started Raid around February, lost enthusiasm after I got a few legendaries besides Artak and Sun Wukong and now got choices on 6 star 60 champs.
Initially it was the punk girl aesthetic, but I noticed quickly how useful she is. Paired with my starter Elhain I was impressed by the damage. Will go over this and see what changes I can make with the resources I have.

One thing to consider is the waves! So i run her and acrizia with allure in Fae hard and ofter she will outdamage Acrizia but it’s because of the waves! She will at times clear one full wave by herself in relentless… if i was to switch to Lethal, i would lose that potential.
Great info. I pulled whisper recently and will definitely go relentless phantom touch (i haven't been able to farm hard DT fae yet so no good lethal)
Awesome spreadsheet as always Saph! Maybe I'm missing something, but where do you calculate the chance of an extra turn from Relentless? When you went through everything at 11:30 I don't see anything that looks like 18%. When I'm comparing Relentless, I normally use 21% as my number (because sometimes you proc it a couple of times).
After extensive testing with a 6* Whisper on Hydra Brutal with 20% ignore defence from the Great Hall, I can conclude that the best damage build is:
Relentless + Phantom Touch + Warmaster
This build delivers around 15% more damage than:
Relentless + Crushing Rend + Helmsmasher
Tested on 10 manual runs, till turn limit.
My Whisper stats:
7.4k attack | 325 crit damage | 230 speed
While I don't have a whisper, I wish that I did. And on top of that absolutely loved this deep dive!
This is great timing. I am thinking of maxing Whisper as my next champ (well, either her or Wukong)
But I don't know if I have good enough relentless gear
I'm just using relentles because I think its just more fun to play with, but for the turn attack I think the savage is better because you do more dmg/hit so you need less turns.
Thank you for this great and informative video! I do want to be a friend and make a small correction. Time of fight will not increase the damage from relentless or give you more relentless procs on average per turn. The expected damage / turn is the same. The variance or range of damage/turn is much wider the shorter the fight is. But the expected damage is the same. If I didn't respect you I wouldn't say anything. Keep it up!

Saf, please cover Togron the Conjoined. I’d like to see his passive with Frolni the Mechanist passive and see the calculations you come up with, with how much damage and HP Frolni could potentially have. Please please please! Also with a good HP aura and either command presence or intimidating presence
if you wanna go really hard on the math, you could evaluate the value of an expected turn by doing a sum of the damage of all future turns weighted by the probability of those future turns occuring. for the pure math approach you could set this up as an infinite sum (or at least a sum of infinite sums).

what about extra turns from relentless, I think it adds more dmg than lethal build
In my account, I have more pressure on availability for Lethal so definitely another factor
So a rule of thumb for PT is use it with champs that use Relentless??
Maybe you could do a vid going over ROT(rules of thumb) for some blessings??
I think it'd help so inexperienced players who don't understand Blessings

Hi saph I got a suggestion I think wisper will pair really good with new sylvian watcher void champ Aeila she good a cool passive extra 10% for extra turn add it up with relentless and wispers passive that's around 38%. Can you please try them together and share your views. Much appreciated for your content have a good one.
Pulled Whisper today. Don't have any souls for her yet, but I got a 6 star Gnut soul. Crushing rend or brimstone for him?
If only I knew she was this amazing I wouldn't off fed her😂, such a pain pulling void epics. Oh well will wait and see
I dont know but it feels like something is missing in this comparison. Because at one point you said when you drop relentless you drop the chance for extra turns which isnt rue because she has a chance to get an extra turn which every crit she lands. Yes Relentless is an extra layer to procc extra turns, but how many more extra turns do i get with relentless over lethal, so i can calculate the damage in the long run even better.
I cant imagine how complicated this could be because of the guaranteed extra turn and than calculate the crit layer and then relentless on top but it is important.
So is merciless now favoured over relentless? using helmsmasher and rend? Also I assume you ALWAYS lead with A2 as you only have 74% C rate in this build. Also almost no ACC so you are not expecting her to land weaken with her A1? so you need to bring another champ to apply weaken if you want her kit to work?
I want to see Akemtum versus Whisper. Whisper still consistently loses to Akemtum in damage in hydra in my testing, much less the other stuff Akemtum does.
That’s probably just hex if I had to guess. If akemtum is placing hex, all the dmg done from hex will be counted as his dmg
What about hero’s soul, at least in hydra?

Just took my Whisper to 60 during the Tormin soul champ training, no soul for her yet sadly.
However, how is the Pope of the Chruch of Whisper on the HH team, but the optimizer doesn't account for her ignoring all defense when i set the boss as having the weaken debuff up? Smadge

Well what about 70% cr versus 100% cr for a1, a3? Seems if going crushing + minus def, need 100% CR because she will quickly lose boost with all extra attacks.

Whisper is only as good as the gear you have so farming Fire Knight became more important .... like the Excel Spreadsheets -so need to do like the clan boss calculator do a damage dealer calculator with multiple bosses to select from this will require a data base referenced to those spreadsheets. I pair her with Riho

Doesn't phantom touch have an one turn cooldown? If so, then you calculated one phantom touch activation to much. Unless you would get lucky and the 35% chance activates twice. ( around12:30)
The one turn cooldown functions like the a1 of a champion. Can happen every turn. However, unlike the a1, of you proc it during that turn using an ability, it cannot activate on counter attacks or ally attacks. So 4(given a lucky extra proc from the 35% chance) is the right number

It's all fun and games until you witness whisper solo a head. Oh and ally attack can trigger whisper's extra attacks. Counter attack does not.
I finally so 6* Whisper blessing and got it without hesitating. Googled best 6* blessing for Whisper and bam - 1 day ago was made this video :D
I wonder what will Saph do if Plarium decides to put DMG CAP on whisper, just like Cadaver?

I would be the 1st one to get stoned to death in the church of whisper,for the sin of feeding her in my early game, had very little idea of the game. Never got her again.😂

@@HHGamingNetwork good deep dive though - I think the takeaway (for me) is to stay relentless - she's a hydra DPS for me and I don't get too badly stat handicapped for that choice unless I fancy stripping gear off my arena nukers.
