Leonid has been one of my favorite artists for years. His paintings and use of color always make me happy. I was thrilled to find he had an Etsy store last year and promptly bought one of his paintings. It will be a family heirloom for generations :)
just read about how your sons helped you and you carried on even after so many downfalls. got me to tears thinking how strong you were to take such bold steps to make a niche for yourself. You're very inspiring and i have become one of your biggest fans. Read about you all day. A freind of mine wanted me to do a painting like yours but they wanted a modification since the husband is on a wheelchair. I dint know you made it. Found out about you and you were alive! It's so rare to find an artist of your stature alive and still doing work! And then i found your tutorial! it was like God made a path to try your painting with your tutorial waiting to be discovered. I was thinking of how to start since i never really painted on canvas before. This would be my first painting on a canvas and then i saw you and your sons probably making this video for you and helping you. I was wondering who that was who was patiently going on making that video! it is one of the best inspirations. Would love to meet you if i do make it to the US someday! You really are something. I hope your sons translate this for you and i hope my love for you reaches you... Lots of love....
this is an amazing lesson an it really dose look like a forest but another amazing thing about is that if unfocus your vision an look at the painting it looks just as beutiful maybe a lil more a lil less but its all amzaing from my eyes an iknow it looks amazing to others to and this is my first time lurning about painting witha palet knife ima give it a try maybe tommoro
This is really beautiful. I know it's going to be a forest but when you are at 25:53 -- I see water and an archway of colorful trees -- expecting to see a small boat floating away in the distance. I'm a acrylic painter but I'm really also falling in love with OILS!
