Time to balance and straighten out the issues you maybe having with the smooth 4. have you tried to calibrate your gimbal? Are you having problems?
Mine wont complete the last 6th step green light even though its in position :((

@@mariyamamura7324 nope. For my purposes it’s good enough not perfectly balanced so I just stopped trying.
@@davidh.-realestatebroker1515 Thanks for letting me know! Strange that nobody seems to mention this problem. I wrote to Zhiyun-Tech but they hadn't had a reply.
Really nice that the gimbal allows such fine adjustments. Really helpful to see how to get to those features too.

my gimbal while taking panorama start from 90 degree right and keep going on right. instead of starting from left and then moving to right. can you suggest the setting for panorama
There has been known issues with Panoramas in the past. make sure you have the latest firmware and App is updated.

No sorry i do not. I do not own the 5.
You may have to contact the company. Try searching the web someone must had done one.

Is the software different nowadays? I can't calibrate, just with the auto mode, but is not straight!
Far as I know this part of the software has not changed.

Hello,my Z 4 keeps roataing off to the left by about 35 degrees.I have done the 6 calibration process but its still rotating off to the left.Would you have any suggestions to fix please?
It sounds like a balance issue. Is your phone well balanced prior to turning on the gimbal? Have you tried the fine motor adjustments?
same thing happened to me, its going left, not about motor calibration, its about the motor turning the the left, this gimbal is really bad honestly

I m a big fan of urs. I request u to not recommend any iphone as it has tomany restrictions which affects upcoming bloggers. Its. Waste of time and money... Android is best as they are very flixeble while apple is very stubborn, which is not of much use for bloggers. My sincere request.. u know better...
I have had no problems with my Iphone 11 and smooth 4. The only issue is getting video off the phone which is not really that hard to do. I'm sorry you are having issues and yes Android is more flexible.
First of all taking out videos from zyplay is a task.... Then i m also using dji fly app. Which have roled out a new version which does not allow to fly above 15m. Android allows last(downgraded) version were as iphone restricts it. A lot of compromise with iphone then also specticel about feature. Overall as a upcoming vlogger who just opted iphone for video and photographs purpose is waste of time and money... No complaints from u as u have shared ur experience but ur folloWers like me gets it sour and bitter for iphone... Keep on sharing ur experience I will always appriciate all as i feel u always create videos tp help me.
Ah, I see what you mean, I don't use drones or that other app. I only talk about equipment and topics I am very familiar with.

Any idea why the red light error on the gimbal is going away? Quite frustrated lol
The red light indicates the motor overload protection. Make sure your phone is under the max weight and is properly balanced.

@@MichaelCGrayPhotography I did they said I have to ship the product the China. I am based in Nigeria to money to ship the product to and fro China would buy four new smooth 4. Sigh.

Not sure what to tell you, other than shutting down and retrying. Which I imagine you have all ready done.
The app crashes when I go into motor calibration mode.
All I can suggest is make sure everything is up to date. You may need to contact them about it, Sounds like an App software bug.
@@MichaelCGrayPhotography My iPhone just went through an upgrade and when I looked at the ZY app in the App Store it hasn’t been updated for a month or more. I am hoping a new update fixes it
Please sir when I turn on my gimbal it doesn't move or balance but it detects bleutooth and do zooming and menu via application but no balance like the motor is not working
Yes, it sounds like the gimbal is broken, if it does not move at all. You should probably contact the company.

I have tried to complete the 6 sided calibration so many times and it never works, i get stuck on the last movement and it never registers that im doing it
I have only done it once and it worked fine. i have heard of people with the same issue as you. I do not know how to fix that, other than making sure your firmware is up to date. You may have to contact them.

Tried to make it as simple as I could.
THE ZY PLAY APP IS HORRIBLE FOR ANY ANDROID PHONE THAT IS NOT A SAMSUNG, APPLE, OR GOOGLE SMARTPHONE, I HAVE A MOTOROLA G POWER(2021) IT HAS ANDROID 10 UP TO DATE, AND THE ZY PLAY APP, RECORDS ALL VIDEOS ON ANY SETTING IN SLOW MO, THE VIDEO RECORDS A SLOW MO LOOK, AND THE QUALITY IS VERY POOR, THE APP FEATURES TRY TO FORCE THIS GIMBAL TO MOVE A WAY IT CANT, APP FORCES GIMBAL TO GO PAST STOP POINTS, IT EVEN CREATES MAJOR SHAKING AND HUMMING, I TRIED THE 3X3 PAN AND THE APP FORCED THE GIMBAL PAST ITS STOP POINT, AND ALMOST BROKE THE GIMBAL, I HAD IT ON THE TRI POD AND NO MATTER WHAT WAY I SET THE GIMBAL, IT WOULD TURN THE SAME DIRECTION, I TRIED EVERYTHING TO STOP IT NOTHING WORKED BUT TURNING THE GIMBAL OFF, AFTER 30 MINUTES OF LITE USE, THE BASE MOTOR AREA WAS HOT, I FEEL THAT IF I WOULD HAVE USED THIS ANOTHER 30 MINUTES THE MOTOR WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD FROM OVERHEATING, THE APP IS OUT TO DESTROY THIS GIMBAL, BECAUSE THIS APP IS NOT MEANT FOR ANDROID, NOW I HAVE TO FIND AN APP THE RECORDS GREAT VIDEOS AND WORKS DECENT, BUT THERE IS NOT REALLY ANY APPS FOR THIS GIMBAL, EXCEPT THAT POOR VIDEO QUALITY DESTRUCTIVE ZY PLAY APP, THE GIMBAL IS AWESOME BUT THE APP IS GARBAGE, THE BAD PART IS THE APP HAS ALL OF THE SETTINGS AND CONTROLS TO THE GIMBAL, I AM NOT SURE WHY THE APP IS HORRIBLE, DESTRUCTIVE AND USELESS, I AM NOT SURE WHY THE CAMERA PHONE APP THE GIMBAL CAN BE USED TOGETHER, I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A DECENT APP THAT RECORDS GREAT QUALITY VIDEOS, I AM SO TIRED OF EVERYONE USEING COMPATIBLE APPLE, GOOGLE AND ANDROID PHONES, THIS APP IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH HIGH END PHONES, THIS RECORDS AND WORKS POORLY WITH MID END PHONES, I AM NOT SURE WHY EVERYONE KEEPS USING COMPATIBLE PHONES TO REVIEW THE ZY PLAY APP, WHY DONT YOU PEOPLE DOING THESE TIPS AMD REVIEWS USE A MID END PHONES LIKE A MOTOROLA G POWER(2021), LG, NOKIA, QUIT USING SAMSUNG, APPLE, GOOGLE PHONE(THAT ARE COMPATIBLE), IN THESE REVIEWS, I FEEL I HAVE BEEN LIED TO BY EVERYONE THAT HAS DONE A REVIEW ON THE SMOOTH 4 GIMBAL AND THE ZY PLAY APP, THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE REAL HONEST REVIEW ON THE ZY PLAY WITH A MID END ANDROID OR A LOW END ANDROID PHONES, NOPE JUST COMPATIBLE PHONES ONLY, SO BASICALLY EVERYONE IS LYING ABOUT THE ZY PLAY APP, THEY ALL MUST BE GETTING PAID BY THE COMPANY TO LIE TO CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE ZY PLAY COMPATABILITY WITH ANDROID MID END TO LOW END ANDROID PHONES
I reviewed the app and gimbal with the phone I own and I bought the gimbal with my money. I do not go out buying every phone and gimbal to simply make videos. I use what I personally use/own. Sorry you are not happy with the App.
Any one if buying smartphone only for camera purpose apple is a waste of time and money
