    LYRICS
    Liberation, oh, Liberation
How long is the road to liberation?
You can’t pretend not to see,
You can’t pretend not to hear
You can feel the groaning of the people
And hear them pray all day long
I walked through the valley aimlessly
    One beautiful sunny morn
I saw ten thousand acres of land
Why should the rich want to get all of it ?
Oh when the poor don’t have an inch of land
    I saw a loving mother
    Crying for her wayward son
Dying yet she did not give up hope
Trusting that he would one day return
Oh my friend let’s lend a helping hand
I saw my people marching on
    The exodus has just begun
We do not how long is the road
But were going to that promise land
Oh my brothers let’s march on with the Lord
