@Ifraz. As I said read some history. Saudi family along with their wahabi allies was ruling najd & sharif of Makkah was controlling hijaz both made deals with british, taking money and weapons, fighting against turks in 1st w.war.
Later, saudi attacked hijaz and got rid of sharifs that's how they got to rule this kingdom, protected by british and later by US from the beginning. Trump recently said US can get rid of saudi whenever they want that's why they're running to china & pak.
Sharif 2 sons were made kings of Iraq and jordon by british for their services. Military coup in iraq toppled monarchy but current king of jordan is a grandson of sharif.

I am a recently retired academic in the West and have tears in my eyes every time I see this great man from before he entered politics. I saw a great personality who feels for the down and out, wants to give health service for the poor, education, justice and to bring about a meritocrasy that gives jobs to the deserving.
I could go on and on but at least I know that despite harshness of change process the good times are in front of us. InshaAllah

They will only support you if they need you, Pakistan was their friend and biggest non Nato alloy in past and they supported Pakistan in almost every situation but only for their own political goal. In past decade Pak US relations was on lowest level in history, but now again they need Pakistan for their exit from Afghanistan so again relationship became warmer day by day. Russia was the super power in 80s but now a days Russia is not in the race, Thanks to 🇺🇸. They created taliban with the help of Pakistan to destroy Russians. In 1980s Era Osama bin laden got red carpet welcome in white house.
China emerging power and rapidly growing economy is biggest threat to their sole super power status, so now they will support India to tackle China. This is just the power game of Usa, nothing will matter not Pakistan nor India or any other country or certain group . In past they supported TALIBAN for their own war (Osama was their hero at that time and afterward he was biggest terrorist) now they blame Pakistan for supporting the same taliban. This is just about power and oil. USA destroyed Iraq, Afghanistan, Yaman, Libya, Egypt and now Syria, and they tried to destabilize Iran but they failed. They supported every evil and illegal Israel's action in Palastine yet they talk about peace. As for as I think Biggest reason of terrorism and militancy in the entire world is Usa. If you suppressed the people of any region (eg kashmir) or attacked any country what do you expect from the peoples of those countries would they exchange flowers or resist. Good interview! But one thing I want to add: Iran has also good scientists. In their own country but also spread around the world. So there are two muslim countries with a high amount of scientists. And Turkey will hopefully be a muslim country with good scientists in the near future.
