Brother I’m glad you made this video. In the future I plan to change mine to the 1000cc injectors and upgrading to the Walbro hellcat fuel pump. I’ll probably have the dealership do the swap the pump out though.
Thanks for this. I got a bad injector the other day at 102k on my 18.. it’ll be a new one for me. Dealer wanted $1375 to change just one. I’m changing them all (port only).
I think I got some bad gas awhile back and now I get a bank 1 misfire that comes in for about 30 seconds and my truck drives terrible. It comes and goes and seems to happen about once every week or two and then goes back to driving perfectly fine. Did you have similar issues with your bad injector? I’m thinking one of mine might clogged or just going out. I’m not sure

@@reyesracing85 yep seated fine I ended up double o ring never leaked again from the top,a buddy of mine always said the bottom Teflon seals are usually once out a pain to seal

Maybe, or your timing is slightly off, that was my issue, every week or so I would have 1 misfire.

What kind of tools do you end up using? I need to change the fuel injector of a 2011 f150 v6 ecoboost.
How did you like this setup? Any issues at all? Would you recommend going this route, or upgrading the HPFP?
This route was cheaper..but the hpfp will make more power

Yes sir. 5star offers a tune for it . Only with ngauge

Are you referring to the direct injectors? Didn’t realize these had dual injector systems
This video shows how to swap the port side injectors. Direct injection side stays stock. Yes they are dual injection.
