the 30 buck flipper finally
Just received my Cardputer, Fire, M5GO Starter Kit, and M5StickC Plus 2 a few days ago. I _really_ like the M5Stack products. *LOL*
Does all of that come in a bundle or purchased separately
@corycrawford4524 I bought everything seperately. The M5GO Starter Kit comes with several sensor modules and is a good kit, if you're just getting started.
For tinkering, running things like nemo etc what one do you reccomend out of the stickC Plus 2 or cardputer
I have a cardputer and have been waiting for you to cover this for a while. Great video! I also have the m5stickc plus which has a similar functionality only smaller and without the keyboard. I would also love for you to cover that one day. Keep up the awesome content!

I actually think people from the 70s would look at this and relate more than other modern tech like TVs and smartphones even if the cardputer is more advanced in certain ways.

I was thinking that having to cut and change back and forth between firmwares would be super annoying and inconvenient, but honestly, at $30 each, you could just get a bunch and install a different one on each.

Re: Evil Cardputer - EAPOL capture seems to only be on ver 1.20 and appears to only be available for the Core 2. The only version available that I can find for the cardputer is 1.17. BTW I thought ver 1.20 for the M5 Core 2 would work on the M5 Fire but it crashes on several of the menu items including EAPOL capture. Newest version for the Fire is 1.19 and it includes Wall of Flipper.

What the best firmware for this cardputer ?
Put mine in SD Card loader mode. It's piling up with modules and everything, but the Fire got most of my attention for now. It will be a combination of Raspberry Pi Pico ideas and M5Stack stuff in my case.

What prevents this from running as a full-on pwnagotchi? Other than a small code change for the display, it should be hardware compatible, right?
Ignore that. I thought the pwnagotchi was esp32 based.
I'm currently running Palnagotchi on one and Marauder the other. 👍
Launcher is great on this but makes updates complicated.

@@victortorres1585 it's basically a neutered Pwnagotchi that just pairs with your Pwnagotchi and basically keeps it entertained so it doesn't get bored. Lol
I’m in the discord and a dude is almost done making a firmware that updates over the air right from the M5 burner servers. It’s so sick. I can’t wait.

I tried getting the gameboy to work but it says "ERROR AT READ ROM_". Where exactly should i put the file with the game and what format should it be?
You have to save the rom on a SD, plus it can only be under 64KB I think.

Anyone figure out how to edit stuff with the UI?
Mine will not program it will not recognise a comport for it but my m5 stick c+ will fling a comport up straight away and program up it’s baffled me to the point were i have give up with it anyone have any clue about this problem

Not really, the Flipper Zero has so much functionality for its form factor, however for $30 this guy is extremely capable.
