"The gacha system is going to suck" me in 2020 when the game updated and became a rhythm game and they added 2 new units (Alkaloid and Crazy:B)
I was into Enstars in 2018 for Rei, but literally the day after I downloaded the game Arashi was on my homescreen LOL (I love her she's my favorite, second being Madara, third Kuro, fourth Rinne)
Took about a few months to learn all their names, and then I started to grasp their personalities and stories and how they interact with eachother... it's SUPER detailed and in depth, there's about 9 years worth of story now. It was super hard getting into it since you had to rely on fan translations. Unfortunately you still do when it comes to pre 2020 stories
But yeah, I love them and I'm suuper invested in this series and. Unfortunately I have put a few thousand dollars that I don't have into it
nagisa (junichi) is an incredible character; they all are! if you're interested in any of their backstories i recommend you scour for stories from the ! era of enstars (translations are scarce but they do exist). nagisa has a lot of personality and depth, not to mention he's absolutely gorgeous. i think i've heard that "wonder game" is a good story of his...? good luck with getting his future 5★s!
and yes, the gacha system does suck, even with the 49 characters aside, but the english version does seem to be more generous with gems which is nice!
final tip: if you're having trouble discerning between right and left flick notes, you can change how they look in "live settings", i personally think some of the other note styles have a more conspicuous color difference than others.

I mean, I always assumed they’d just add the cover songs later, since they seem to mostly be adding content in the order it was released. Is there a reason they specifically wouldn’t bring them to the EN server? Copyright issues or something?

Oh I know this video is old by now but the notes probably felt delayed because u were wearing wireless earbuds! I find I have to use wired ones for these games bc wireless always causes a slight delay
I think it might have been my editing that made it seem like there was more of a lag since I was trying to match the game audio with the separate audio from my camera. 😅 There wasn't too much of a lag with the headphones, I always tend to play with my airpods if I'm with family or out in public.
