I always park reverse, regardless of the establishment’s policies. From where I’m from, not one has been penalized for doing so. When I know I’m buying something big, I park nose first. In my locality, there are at least 2 establishments that have wide spaces in between (or from the wall) so carts can go through. So trunk access is no problem even when parked reversed.

Thanks for the informative video, i will still park nose out in high traffic parking areas such as sm and glorietta malls because even if your reverse lights are lit, most of the time cars lined up to exit will NOT LET YOU PASS. You can have an easier time inching your nose out to get out of your parking slot.

Reverse parking is the best and proper way to park for one main reason, SAFETY. By doing reverse parking driver can easily see what’s in front of the him/her when about to go out of the parking slot whether would it pedestrian or approaching vehicles. And whenever you’re at the basement parking, make sure your headlights are open.

Meron na inilabas na studies based sa statistics na accident sa parking, studies shows that parking facing building are more prone to accident while backing out, while it is more safer to do a reverse parking because you have peripheral vision while exiting the parking spot! The people that own the parking structure have the right to tell you how you need to park regardless which way it is.
Usually, there's not enough space to maneuver backing out of a parking stall here in the Philippines. It's easier and practical to reverse into your parking area.
Speaking of space, agree po ako na most of the parking slots are too narrow talaga kaya ang hirap mag nose in at mag exit.
The reason you have trouble parking nose in is because nobody taught you how to do it properly. You need to start all the way across the lane from the space. Don’t aim to pull directly in. Instead aim to turn hard for the corner of the farther adjacent spot. Stop before hitting car, reverse and turn wheel fully opposite direction, then easily pull straight in. Using this method you can park in 50% or more of the time it takes to back in.
The problem is that a lot of spaces that we thought available are actually not and occupied by small hatchbacks.
And most of the time, you will only realize that it is actually free is when you are really close to the slot. And you cannot do the suggested maneuver because theres another vehicle at your back.

Nose facing the wall will prevent thieves stealing your spare tire or even your real wheel which is was a previous victim. Hindi kita sa security cctv or the guard.

Backing a vehicle is when a lot of accidents happen. At my employment it was mandatory that all company vehicles back into a parking spot. Reason being, you can see the lane and the spot more easily, before backing in. Then when leaving you can see people and other cars more easily. Many people walking down the aisles do not stop and give way for cars backing up, they assume you see them and make you wait. This happens quite frequently. For some people I understand backing a vehicle is difficult no matter what, and thus can be unsafe either way. Thieves are not going to park in a parking garage, they will have a car waiting outside the doors. Security, I do not see that as a valid reason.

I once entered a mall parking with some boxes of DIY electronic devices with exposed wirings in my trunk and I suddenly realized - as the guard looks inside the trunk - that I might be questioned. No, he didn't. He promptly closed the trunk like his mind was wandering elsewhere.
