- Join me on the Willows lake in search of an autumn chunk
A quick couple of nights resulting in a couple of bites up to 24lb no monsters but this time but not to be grumbled at, this might be the last session on here this year as the winter leagues start soon, so it was nice to end on a couple of fish and an enjoyable session here. I have only managed 5 nights on here this year for 7 fish to 39lb, hopefully I can make a bit more time to do a few more nights next year and see if I can get into the 40lb+ fish which reside in here.

Went to a local fishery on Monday and pretty much had the place to myself. Was fishing paste over micros on a short pole; one of the locals declared that it was too late in the season for paste... I came away with 26 fish, all carp, and he managed 7 🤣
Did a 48 hrs on trout lake didn't get owt, lads on social managed a 42lb last weekend

I think it's jolly uncivilized of that carp to brake you orf like that. Honestly one can't get the staff these days. With the audacity to ad-lib, and ignore the script altogether. It just isn't right if you ask me. Don't you think so Mrs. D?
Back to me again, this time with a wee tip. Consider getting in touch with Bill and Virginia Rushmer. They're a fishing couple, and somehow, Virginie seem to do better than Bill. In numbers and size. You may know them already, but if not, you'll be treated with meeting one of the loveliest couples around.
