This video is nostalgic as hell.
So true and I just noticed it was recorded just over ten years ago, wow how time goes by.
It really is
I come back to this video every so often. It was the original video that got me into airsoft and your channel. Been subbed for years. Always love your videos.
+Dane Aucker Thanks for watching Dane, sorry I got you into this ;-) I hope you have somewhere good to play Airsoft
+scoutthedoggie Shit you not I had a dream last night about playing there.... Probably because I watched it right before bed. Lord help me ;-)
+Dane Aucker Yeah I know what you mean. When I first started playing Airsoft I used to dream I was at The Fort etc all the time, crazy. Later
Scout
wow.. 8 years ago. Goes by so fast! This was the airsoft video I've ever watched. Great to see that you're still up and running with amazing content. This video I still find more entertaining then some recent videos from other channels.
Thanks or looking back over these older video, glad you still enjoy them Andy :-)
I don't know if anyone is still here or cares, but this the first video I ever commented on 8 years ago at the age of 10 lol
I'm still here, I do check eery single comment made on any video and I do reply to as many as I can. Thanks for watching and commenting. I guess this video still means something to you. Now stop watching them and come join us in Scotland for some pew pew so we can shoot at you 😃
i must say scout i find all of your videos very enjoyable, they are all just a great example of why people play airsoft! Cheers Scout keep up the great videos for years to come
Hey Scout just here to say you've inspired me in airsoft
- Thanks Nick
I've been rewatching this airsoft video for like 8 years mainly because it's one of my favorites and the first that ever got me into airsoft
Thanks for watching, much appreciated.
Still my favourite video! This basically introduced me to airsoft
Glad you enjoyed it
This is the very first video I watched about airsoft, about 10 years ago... Thank you !
Thanks for returning, watching and taking the time to comment. Did you get the chance to play airsoft?
@@scoutthedoggie Last time I played was around 2018... Airsoft is banned here in Venezuela. by the way...
@@profesorplazas I really did not know it was banned, over the years a few viewers from Venezuela have commented, but none ever mentioned the ban. Thanks for watching and commenting. This is Scoutthedoggie, replying from one of my other CZcams accounts.
@@ScottishTeeVee Thank you so much ! Stay in touch !
@scoutthedoggie
I love your videos because it's almost like watching a real life battle up close. No annoying orange tips, you can hear all the guns, and sometimes a bomb or something going off. Total epicness! Subbed.
One of the first youtube videos I remember watching. Reminds me of happy times.
Anyone here in 2018?
Just you and I
Awww right in the bolocks
i have been watching all of your videos like ten times each and they never get old KEEP MAKING VIDEOS SCOUT I TRUST YOU,MATE
saw him in the shop on saturday. Really miss fort shoots since the arbroath deserters site closed.
Wait.... your the legend that is scoutthedoggie. It was your vid's (that i accidentally stumbled across on a boring day at the office) that got me into airsoft. Never knew of it untill then.
MANY THANKS FRIEND. ;)
Damn feel old yet?
I certainly do. At the time of recording, I did not think people would still be watching these 11 years later.
your videos never get old
this is the video that inspired me to play airsoft like a couple years ago
It's 2024 and this video still goes hard. Introduced me to airsoft.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, 🙂
Looking at these remind me of my old airsoft days
this is the video that really got me into airsoft !
1:26 Every part of him is cool! the face mask, the sniper, the toboggan helmet! awesome!
This was my first CZcams airsoft video I watch back in 2008... crazy
Almost ten years ago, yes, truly crazy, does not seem that long since I recorded it. Thanks for continuing to watch these
scoutthedoggie thank you for producing quality videos, always a pleasure watching them.
I can't believe how much airsoft has changed since this video..
I'm amazed that 11 years later, people are still watching these videos. When I filmed these and put them on CZcams, I just expected locals to be watching and for the video to be forgotten within a few months.
you have the best airsoft video ever
I'm going airsofting for the first time in 2 days. And after watching this vid, I'm UBER excited!!!!!!! Awesome vid! Thank you!
This video is my first scoutthedoggie video ive ever seen, it was 2009 =D Keep up the good work!
I LOVE THESE VIDS!!!
just keep these videos coming
THIS IS THE BEST CHANNEL ON CZcams!!!!!!!
FoxHound logo at 4:03! That's awesome. That Systema M4 sounds nasty. Cool video, for sure.
look at how far we've come as far as the styles of guns, and new models of guns because this video is about six years old. its amazing.
15 years old now and airsoft has evolved even more
@scoutthedoggie Holy cow!!! thats like a real war!!!
Glad you like this old video, I have made around 300 since this one though.
They are using "High-cap" mags. They usually have 400+ rounds, but they aren't all fed at once. They have to wind the dial to feed more ammo into the mag.
There are "Mid-cap" mags that have lower capacity (generally 125-150ish). You have to swap mags more often, and have less ammo overall, but the benefits are you don't have to wind the mag and you don't "rattle" because all the ammo is under pressure.
@iluvbbguns Your right, Im very lucky that people are still watching and enjoying my old videos where as the old videos from big CZcamsrs look very dated.
im new to the whole airsoft thing and it looks fawkin awesome
These are so fun to watch!!! I liked!! :)
holy crap man you have come along way!
You mean in video production since this was made?
Real good work they did here, feel sorry for the guy who had to video tape, everything looked sooo fun especially being the sniper
I've seen many Airsoft Videos, but I just Crack up soo much because of the Sound of the Guns XD
love the l85a2 the guy has near the beggining.
Awesome video of the action!
On days when we have 50+ per side it is a BB free for all! You can't hardly move without getting hit from 3 different directions. Not as bad in dead of summer when all the foliage offers cover though, but more comfortable to play in fall and spring where there is less cover. Will be out this Sunday and may try a gun cam. Will post if it works......
Looks like alot of fun!
The sites are all ran as serious businesses, but for the people playing its all just fun. A great day out in some beautiful forests, with friends, enjoying life.
You are a beast at making vids.
paintball and airsoft are both awesome!
this is really kewl its wat got me into airsoft.!
u are awsome AIRSOFT MAKERS!!!!
i wish i had those air soft guns. they are SWEET!
this looks awsome!
Hey scout love your videos I've gotten into airsoft so much I've made my own place people come all the time I was going to ask u what gram bullets do most people use that are in your videos
i know nothing really about airsoft but have been watching your videos for the last couple days and cant seem to stop watching. Great videos. One question though. what is the purpose of rubbing the bottom of the clip? I havent seemed to work that out yet.
A RIGHT IN THE BOLLOCKS - HIT!
hahahaha laughed my soul out of that one
Awesome! Systema is awesome!
Miss these simpler times in airsoft
Yes, it is not quite the same now, many regular players have drifted off to do other things, it's a shame. Thanks for watching and commenting
Thank You Lukas
at the bottom of the mag there is a dial for feeding the ammo into the part of the mag where the bullets are ready to be fired, they have to do this every few minutes so their gun wont "dry fire"
i just got a src g36c for xmas cant wait to come to these :D
hey scout, do you and other airsoft players modify your airsoft gear and equipment within the same stores you buy them in??? AWESOME VIDEOS as always :)
great looking m16!
The cameras are hit all the time. I have had about five cameras where the viewing screen has been smashed and two where the lens was damaged
That bright green M4 'camo' is driving me crazy! It's like he's trying to get noticed...
Air soft looks cool! I've never played before and want to get into it. What is a good gun to start with that's not too pricey?
5:04 that sound is oh-so satisfying
3:57 His gun is fast as hell!
@LazyJoe335 It really depends. There are three kinds of mags Hi-Caps, Mid-Caps, and Drums. Now Hi-Caps can hold anywhere from 250 or so to 600 ish (can be more or less really,) Hi-Caps are the ones you see them 'winding' and aren't considered very 'realistic' and most of the time are not allowed in military sim games. Now mid-caps can hold 30-170 (again ish, it all depends on brand/type/preference) mid-caps are used in mil-sim games usually with 30 rounds. Drums are... a lot of BBs
@scoutthedoggie hey im new to airsoft and i was wondering what happens if bbs hit your weapon ? does it stop you from using it in the game or is it something else plz reply when you have a chance :)
@homegrown616 battery mostly mate, scotland cold weather means gas powere weapons are less reliable...but they are use. just not as much as electric.
Hello Sir. I'm a great fan of yours. i just wanna ask something, in your own experience sir what do you prefer. a Full metal or Half Metal.. I'm planning to buy An M4 S-System. but still bothered if i would choose full metal or the half metal..i need your opinion sir. i'm just a noob in airsoft. i would really appreciate and be honored to read your response.. takecare always sir. Godbless

i just bought my first airsoft gun (G&G M4 Commando) and it came with a high cap mag. Ive only ever really shot one before, ive never loaded it or cared for one before this. I noticed the gear at the bottoom of the mag, do you have to recrank the gear every time once you've shot 20+ rounds or so?
Scout, I just wanted to know what is the best sniper to use im new to airsoft and i also wanted to know what is the best protective gear to wear?
SRC guns are used at sites here. I think Section8 just bought a load of SRC G36c's as site rental guns.
Thanks your the best!! :D Maby some day ill come to scotland and play with you!
Whats the most used fps? Im wondering if i will buy a M4a1 special edition with 430 fps.. is that very hig and good for long shots like sniping or so? :D
Love all of your videos Scoutt
@Mannproductions57 The protection are those glasses. Because it doesn't hurt that much, no other protection is needed. Although for example my eyebrow was torn by one pellet, but that's probably the most serious "injury" I've seen on airsoft.
Awesome vids
Im not sure what you mean, website, retailer, place to play?
Nothing that I had never heard at least 1000 times already.
I've subscribed. I see in your comments that The Fort is closed. Is this because it was a difficult game to run there with lots of tempers? Or was the decision to close due to safety issues related to the site? Just curious if you know the answer. Thanks for the videos! I really enjoy them.
Hey Scout, I would like to ask you if there is anyways to modify a sniper wich is for right-handed for left-handed ? I'm personnally left-handed and this is really a pain to reload it.
Thanks in advance for your answer !
Scout, what gun do you recommend for a beginner at the airsoft community, with a good price rage
i wish this was going when i was a kid. looks fun.
love it
Most regular players will do internal upgrades to their guns, basics like, barrel, hop, motor, battery & maybe the gears.
I like rifle scope on the mp5 platform. Classic.
@akh94 Thanks.. And also i've been wondering what are your bb's made of?.. metal , ceramic ,plastic etc..
have you tried the unjamming rod? also giving it a good shake might help
pretty cool
nice vid i just wanted to say do you haved to have a side weapon on you in a battle
damn looks awesome
what is your best international airsoft site that you recomend?
Hey what gun is the guy using with the sniper/ mp5 combo. Like who makes these?
Hey Scout, are there any 24 or 48 hour scenarios in Scotland or thereabouts?
I'm kind off new into airsoft and I have some questions: I red on a site that it's dangerous to play with metal airsoft weapons and you can't fire them on other people is this true? And my other question: If you play a airsoft game what protective gear should you wear?
@MrDevin712 Yes I am the only cameraman, I do not have a crew and to answer your next question before you ask, its down to editing.
What are those exploding sounds in the background? Were you guys using airsoft grenades? If so, what kind?
hi welcome to the fort were happy things happen to...
@airsoftking4889 Thank You!
