      @@andrewh5968the end result of many years "work and research" with that much money. what is that duck tape doing there? what kind of thin rubber is that on the arms that just wiggles like that, what is that spring that you can just dislodge from under the magnet? why is it even possible that the rail jumps over that small barrier? I can see the whole thing just breaking after a year of use ... seems to me like a cheap fast student project.

      As far as the rail jumping, I think that was a shipping issue. I wonder what could have been done to prevent it.
      I can see both sides of the spring.
      When I first saw the duct tape, I thought the same thing. It felt kind of cheap. For the cord itself I think duct tape was a decent choice but to secure it firmly to the board, a different material would have been better. I am concerned about the longevity of the duct tape…
