Stop comparing other artists' version with the original one. I have watched Sungyoul's, Wendy's, Chen's, Joyrene's and they all did amazing (and I'm an EXOL too lol. I still love Chen's version just because I love his rocker screams), but none come close with the original. She did this effortlessly, still reaching that high note with that much power - this is a legend we are talking about. This song is made for her for a reason ;) imagine singing this song that frequent without getting a sore throat.
Holy shit this comment is 2 years old but I 100% agree. I'm all for idols and the younger generation doing covers or singing the song to represent. But some of their fans can get so obnoxious saying that the artists they stan can sing it perfectly when most if not all are clearly straining and struggling to hit the high notes. Really gets on my nerves at times with how biased they can be.
