I was missing my mom as today was her birthday & looking at animal videos, when I came across this one. Watching this video made me smile as well as laugh so hard. I had a Jack Russell/Lab mix before & I believe that if she was still alive, she would love this. She would play catch for hours & if left alone, she might have played all night long with this toy. Thanks for the laughs & smiles, I really needed it today. 😊❤

This launcher can be an adjunct to humans throwing the ball. Humans get bored but dogs seem to have a higher threshold to boredom. So why not do both human and machine launcher at different times? Of course for the dog, the human interaction is a richer experience. Cheers.
This is just sad. anyone that has ever trained dogs knows the playing catch or sharing a favorite toy such as a ball is a BONDING thing and is NOT just for exercise. I really do dislike these last two generations,,they have become LAZY.

You are more than welcome to come to our house and witness the interaction we have with our dog on a daily bases. We have trained our dog he is very well behaved and extremely smart. it's for the dog's entertainment, (instead of locking it in crate while you're at work, which a lot of people have told me they do), so they can be safely entertained while you're making money for the mortgage payment or for the bills... unless you want to pay a dog/pet watcher to play with & walk your dog while you're at work? (then you have to do research & make sure they're good...) (though a veterinarian told me, recently, that tennis balls (are very bad for them) wear down the animal's teeth. "think toothless!")

I like how he pauses his tail wag until he hears the machine reving up, the gets re-excited. As in saying “Is it working? Oh! There it goes!” 🐕
