Thanks for that love, I like that you notice. I'm super happy for the people that do follow and like my content! I just like to help bring my part of the world to you all and so appreciative that I have people like you here!
I've always appreciated your honest reviews. When things don't fit, you say so, when they do, your still try to point out any potential for improvement. That does look like a pretty damn cool kit.
YES!!! Can't wait for these to be released. Recently bought some EX spindles to run the mini cooper upgrade but will probably hold off and go with this kit for my DX hatch. Great and informative video as always.
Throwing in my two cents Mr Jon. I had the 12" wilwood set up on my eg. I didn't take into account what wheels would fit. The only wheels I could get over the brakes were 17's !! All my 15's ans 16's absolutely would not fit, so I went with the WILWOOD 10.5" DPHA kit with no brake booster. I am very pleased. The brakes are amazing. Just keep wheel size in mind folks with these big brake kits. Love your channel Jon 😊
Love a good brake upgrade. I just finished up a Mini Cooper 11" brake + ITR/CRV caliper setup on my EG this weekend. Doesn't look as nice as the kit you installed here, and required Integra knuckes but it fits under my 15x6.5 wheels!
~$625 kit to compete with the Wilwood DX kit is crazy! Excited to see how they stack up. Also excited to see some more 15x7 wheel fitment on these calipers. I really hope that the other smaller "budget" JSR kit will be designed as a competitor to the Wilwood DPHA 10.5" kit where it bolts up direct to an OEM rotor, except just made for the 9.5" rotor / DX spindle. I think this would fill a spot missing in the market. Another question is: what pad plates will these JSR calipers be using? Will we be able to use pads from other companies like Hawk?
The wilwood kit is hell on earth to work with. The line is the devil. I ziptied mine too and it slip and tore the new axle. But stock line fit the wilwood but they tell u it won't to sell their line. And the nut didn't thread in the line. The wilwood pad don't use all the rotor surface either. I wish I can trade my wilwood for a jackspania. Bought wilwood 5yr ago it was what's available in 2019
Well I got my hands on some thankfully. They’ll be getting here on the 19th. I only made one mistake. I didn’t realize u had a discount code 😢😢😢 coulda saved like $60 bucks
@@GarageBuiltHondas nvm. I was hyped to finally get some. But I just got an email that said the order was canceled. They said they didn’t have any in stock apparently 😞. Even though it said there was 2 in stock. I’ll just keep checking.
Great video man, that setup looks nice! If you have any interest in selling that Buddy Club exhaust I'd possibly be interested, I can't find them anymore. Keep up the great work!
Thanks brother! Do we know what track pad style we will need on these calipers? I might have to downgrade my integra hubs for this kit. Interested in what DTC70 these take.
Is there a standard direction that slotted rotors are supposed to be orientated? I always thought they went the other way. The set i put on my cobalt ss were labled individually and the slots point the other way (counter clockwise) which makes sense. To clear any gasses and debris and channel it outward. My buddy has a srt8 charger and his are ponted forward on one side and then backwards on the other side. To me those just look backward.
I think it just depends on the manufacturer. I've seen them both ways. My Wilwood were the same way but I've had some rotors that weren't part of any brake kit set and those faced the other direction.
Hi Mate! Thank you for this video Just want to ask, you had yo remove the. Spindle splash guards right? And just to confirm, these were installed on. 15CL spindles right?
Mine already had the dust shields removed. I'm unsure if they'll fit with them. These are on the small spline dx spindles. They do not squeak when cold.

Nice bbk. Cant wait for it to come out. The price is amazing, for what it includes. Especially with the 2 piece rotors too.
Yes my friend...looks proper in there, prob changes the look dramatically...nice

He's working on pad builds right now. He does want to have options, will update again in the next video when I test these at the track!

Ahh man. I just checked. They’re aren’t there. All sold out 😞.
Man I need to put my subframe in my eg
Now's the time! Hope I help motivate you to get outside!
Hell I’m 99.9% the blox and Wilwood Dpha is the same caliper kit from having both I can’t tell the difference besides powdercoating
Have to put a TL type S brake master
What size is it?
If only I could get these under some 14s =D
Great video! Stay Mad!
I recently sold my EF hatch but this would be sick! On my EK though lol
Almost 100k subs
Grasias por conpartir

does the brake pads use the same pads as the regular civic pads?

Man I like this kit, and can’t seem to find it on their site, I’m guessing it’s not available to the public yet
Can you still fit a 15 inch rims?
What brand lugs are on the buddy club

@GarageBuiltHondas thank you mate! Valueble info. Great content too. Cheers mate!
What are you doing with a compton hat😃
Would these fit a 15x6.5 +35
How much do they weigh vs the wilwood setup
Good question, I'll get that in the next video.
@GarageBuiltHondas if they can give you info on the affected brake bias as well that would be really good for us track guys
None of those kits can support 13" wheels :( , which kit can be used with 13" wheels?
I don't think any kits out there fit 14" wheels.
Would these fit 97-01 crv
Unfortunately not this kit. But he is working on a 5 lug CTR/ITR kit. Those calipers are the same size so there may be some compatibility.
Calipers look good but that muffler sounds terrible.
Lol that's cool! I absolutely love how it sounds!
@@GarageBuiltHondasi love how it sounds also
