From what I've heard from friends and family in the UK Ren has been played on a few radio programs in the UK. Specific shows on BBC who cover new up and coming artist have played his music and interviewed Ren as well, which is so much more then anything he'd get from the radio here in the US. As for BBC 1, I highly doubt he'll be on rotation anytime soon because they tend to only have a commercial music formats that they put on rotation play, similar to what they play on American radio stations. Radio in North America is F'd in general because they are fully controlled by the industry and rarely do independent artist with no label affiliation get any radio play.

Ren is independent. That means he isn't on a label with radio connections. As mentioned, any given presenter can play what they like but convincing a station manager (or corporate playlist maker in the US) to add it to rotation is another matter altogether.
From USA here. My friend introduced me to Ren by showing me the video for "Hi Ren". I'm drawn to the uniqueness of that video and lyrics to the song. Haven't listened to much from him yet. Going to watch this and other Ren reaction videos from you.

Uninvited is the song that gets played on the UK radio from what I've been reading in the comments of other videos.
They told him to do him to do a radio friendly song. Lol. So he wrote uninvited. If watch the video of him finding out he is number 1. That song was on the radio. It’s hilarious because it’s his dirtiest song lol.
Also go way back and check out his first band Trick the Fox from many years ago. Most of Rens song will not be heard on radio sadly.
Ren has been played a few times on Radio 6 since the new album, mainly by Huw Stevens (a fellow welshman). He was also interviewed as well if I recall. Not sure of Radio 1 as I'm too old for that now!

When Ren was interviewed on Apple radio they played radio edit versions where the naughty words were muted.

Ren's new song Uninvited is completely radio friendly and even sounds pop. It's a cheeky play on words, but it's way cleaner than half the things on the radio today. I quit listening to radio years ago, but the radio in the US is different than the UK. But it sounds like it's still similar where they are pushing whatever the mainstream industry is pushing. Love this song so much. Great reaction.

I see this song as his "ode" to the current rap game that he listens to, referencing all their "wicked ways". All the topics are what we see in the industry right now but in true Ren style we all need to be self-conscious to stay on our right path. So many influences combined in this Kendrick, Drake etc..
Great reaction guys!🤟🏻 The local stations here in Pennsylvania in the US don’t play anything that’s less than 20, 30 years old. With the exception of one that would play him if he were suggested and unfortunately I can’t get that station unless I’m closer to the area.

YOOOOO! I'm from the US. Radio One should be ashamed of themselves. To play Oliver Anthony's song that is blatantly calling out the US government BECAUSE it is calling out a government that is not Britain's while simultaneously not playing the Welsh artist with the number one album in the UK because you know he calls out the British government in many of those songs on that number one album? This is how dumb they think we are. They think if they ignore Ren, he'll be forgotten once "the next thing" comes along. They're praying that he just goes away.

Apart from the moment he went no1 I have not heard a single Ren song played on the radio and it really pisses me off big time!

Radio has no incentive to play Ren since he is independent the music industry will not support an artist they cannot benefit from also they do not want to encourage more artists to be independent their whole business model would collapse if artists en masse bypass the music industry, I've had 15 years in radio programming and know that the large recording labels undercut indie artists or sign them and shelf them when it goes against their business interests .
